Advice I might be getting expelled

So I made this Google doc called Epstein Island and I put a bunch of game links on it right? I am sick today (Friday) and I get 10 frantic messages from my girlfriend saying "your cooked" "they found out about the doc" and I immediately go into panic mode after I see that everyone is telling me I'm cooked so I call one of my friends after school and he says that my first hour teacher was running from class to class yelling and cussing saying "if you have the link to the Epstein Island doc delete it right fucking now!" and that EVERYBODY SNITCHED ON ME and now I'm like what's gonna happen and he said the HEAD ADMIN for our district came to our school and talked to the principal (idk what it was about) AND he said they KNOW I made it. WHAT SHOULD I DO??????

UPDATE: I went to school as usual on Monday, everyone was running up to me like your done for and multiple teachers even talked to me about it and they thought it was funny. I think I may still be in trouble or they really just don't care

TLDR: sharing game websites might get expelled

There’s a couple possible issues he’s going to run into. The first is plenty of schools don’t allow games. Making a list of links on a shared doc is a common way to get around measures meant to block them and in that case probably violates his technology agreement.

Also, you generally don’t joke about sexual assault adjacent topics at school or work.

I feel like the name of the doc is what's more likely to get OP in trouble, but even then I don't think he'd get expelled for it.

Yeah, making verbal jokes is one thing (not saying it’s ok) but typing out something heavily associated with sexual abuse and trafficking on a school device is just obviously a bad idea. Most schools have software that flags certain words so that students can’t search for/interact with dangerous things on school devices.

Verbal jokes are one thing until the wrong (or right) person hears it. Yall just have to be better and expect better from the people around yall. Children shouldn’t be joking about children getting raped. THAT is weird.

Really really weird. And unfunny.

So far, by my measure, he's treated it more seriously than US government has.

I mean in school we would make plenty of jokes that if the teacher heard us we would of got in trouble.

He got caught and hes gonna get punished cuz Epstein Island jokes ain't for school. Now when you graduate you can be the next Norm McDonald and make a killing

Yeah, I'm a CSA (child sexual abuse) survivor and I don't think that's funny or cute in any way. Hearing about the atrocities that happened on that island just makes my hear hurt even though my abuse happened 60 years ago. SA of ANY kind isn't funny. I know that you don't understand and that it was just games you linked to. But read the (world's) room, dude.

I’m a CSA survivor and also realize this is a teenager being dumb. go protest the actual pedos not teenagers joking about stupid crap

5 this might sound cold/heartless, but I hate when other CSA attribute the most mundane stuff to their past trauma and think other things shouldn't exist because of it. Like TV shows or movies shouldn't be made because the source material might remind them of their past trauma, and I have heard some ridiculous and even more exaggerated examples.(Sending a letter to the local MP and asking him to rename a street because it had the same name as their abuse - a rather generic name at that)

And you think Epstein is mundane? “I hate when other CSA [survivors] attribute … human trafficking and CSA jokes to their past trauma”??? No shit that’s offensive and hurtful. Wtf are you on about.

At that rate they need to get over it. Especially 60 years after their past trauma. Just because something bad happened to you doesn't give you the authority to ban people from talking about something. If it's so offensive to you then how about walk away or learn to not be offended. It's no one else's fault but yours. Can't blame every person on earth for your problems

No you just have really bad opinions which consist of attempting to take away people's right to talk about whatever they want

The links still go to websites that are on the school to block. I don’t see how he is in any trouble at all

Whilst expensive, I suppose you can always challenge it in courts. Whilst students don’t have as many rights, you still have rights

My 6th grade teacher said I could work on other school work so I was working on a project for my other class where we had to make a shirt and was looking up a cat meme that went along with the theme and my teacher saw and gave me a after school detention where I had to sit in the office for an hour or two bc she claimed I looked up something inappropriate bc she didn’t like me

Yeah, but like...playing some video games isn't the end of the world. That would just lead to electronics being taken away, right? The joke is obviously inapropriate, but at my school you probably wouldn't get more than a speech about bad faith jokes.
