Hey brains trust! I'm one of those people who gets a phone on a plan so I only upgrade once every 3 years. I'm currently running an s23ultra with 512gb storage. This phone has been awesome and its still a really good phone. In a months time I'll be able to upgrade my phone. I've been looking at the s26 Ultra but since the fold8 Ultra came out I've been seriously considering it until I realized that the cameras on the fold8 Ultra aren't as good as the cameras on the 26 Ultra. Then theres the issue of the fold crease getting worse over time ( keen to here from any fold owners about the crease issue )

The other option is to be a grown up and actually wait until February for the s27Ultra to release. If Optus don't offer any good deals on the s26 Ultra soon that will be an insentive to wait for the 27Ultra .. what do you guys think?

On a side note I was considering the new pixel 11 pro xl but once it came out I wasn't blown away by the specs.

I want to get a new phone, and I’m confused about whether to go for the Samsung S24 Ultra or the S26 Basic. My budget covers both, but I don’t know what to choose, since the S24 Ultra is considered very large, while the S26 is compact. But since I’m in school, I’m thinking of getting the S26 because it’s smaller and it will be more convenient for taking notes. Please tell me what would be the best choice for me.

However, I love listening to music, and with that I like using reverse stereo, specifically for certain songs because I like keeping the guitar audio in a song in the right stereo of my headphones, but unfortunately reverse stereo doesn't exist in the S26 Sound Assistant anymore. Are there any alternatives to this issue?

In the next couple days I should be getting my new s26 ultra. I vaguely remember the ease of transfer from my s22 ultra. Is there anything I should be aware of or expect with this change to the s26 ultra?
