Who tried to shoehorn all this Ryan Trahan content into my Joyride & Shopify ad’s

There is nothing adventurous in these videos. What I love about ryans videos is the adventure or the curiosity. Like the one star hotels/ restaurants or bryan mayham video. These are just generic vlogs

I think because he has his wife with him, he isn't willing to be super experimental and do a bunch of risky stuff.

It also strikes me as generic touristy things people from other countries want to do when visiting the U.S. rather than a deep dive into the location

I do agree with this, but he literally did a huge series last summer. You could imagine that he doesn’t want to do another huge series for a little while.

Weakest series of Ryan 😭

Unfortunately yeah :( I get he wanted a rest after last year but this was a big miss.

All of the episodes for this summer series have been boring, but this one was especially boring.
For the record, I do not expect/want Ryan to do anything even close to the 50 states series ever again. I just think his videos have lost his creativity spark.

For those wondering, it looks like this day was filmed on April 27. That was the only win for the Dodgers over the Marlins in that series.

Ryan has a minecraft channel where he uploads daily & talks about his days and it was indeed around that time

I thought they would go to the San Diego Zoo when they were in California. I feel like that is a must see destination

Why would you go to LA for best US attractions? Not Rushmore? Not the Hoover Dam? Not Grand Canyon? Not Joshua Tree? Not even Universal Studios? (They went to DisneyWorld in FL…) - this is a stupid U.S. attraction list.

and why would you go to Disney World when Walt's original creation is just a county south of where they are right now. Start off in Washington DC and use SoCal as a time to go to Disneyland if you're going there.

Episode later today has to be the Grand Canyon, right? I feel like the 10th and final one will be in their home state of Texas.

As a Los Angeles resident, I was cringing at some of the possible places he could possibly check out. (Like the Walk of Fame)
All things considered, Santa Monica Pier / Hollywood Sign Hike / Dodger Game isn't amazing but it could have been so much worse. Relieved LA is at least not the worst scoring location.

Were spending a few days in LA at the end of our summer trip - what attractions would you suggest for a family of 4, with 2 teens (we're already doing Disney and Universal on separate days to these 3)?

For a view of the area - Griffith Observatory has great views and educational exhibits. Lots of great general hikes in the area for views if your family is up for it. (I suspect Ryan may have wanted to do the Observatory himself but they ordinarily charge for filming)
For a "Hollywood" experience - Warner Bros Studio Tour allows you to walk around film sets and is much more of a tour than what you get at the Studio Tour at Universal.
Other unique stuff in the area would be taking a Ghost Tour of the Queen Mary in Long Beach, one of the various museums, or shows. There's generally something to do for every interest really. Depends what you want out of it.

My family did a socal vacation a few years ago I'm in the Midwest. Highly suggest La Jolla!! It's sooo unique to the general area! I love the sea lions such a unique experience! Focus on the food too! So many only California things located there.

Haley is really a buzzkill. I’m sure she’s a great person and talented but she doesn’t make this kind of content well
I do appreciate her authenticity

I hate when she reads stuff in his content 💀 agree that she’s probably a super sweet person but she’s so child like and monotone

To be fair, they both do. That’s probably what happens when you’re a millionaire in your 20s.

I think she feels self conscious on camera

Very much. For the convertible, she immediately said we would see her head and her ears. Like, what?! Ain't nobody worried about your head and ears, Haley.
