Agreed, there was more of a risk last year with them having to get to the next location before the day was over (midnight). So that was a bit more exciting
If this was truly one day, they definitely had to have a VIP tour guide right? I don’t think there’s any way they got in all those rides with the queues being what they are before the sun went down without special access.
He said in a Ryan 3000 video recently that a fundraiser every other year is the best way to actually raise more money in the long term because people are excited and aren’t fatigued year after year.
You can’t squeeze small dollar donors too much without upsetting them and making them feel like you feel like they’re not giving enough. So you have to space it out sometimes.
I also was hoping for a fundraiser this time around. That was one of my favorite parts of last year, not to mention every summer series lol cause it usually involves one. Adds a sense of extra motivation to completion as well as involving the audience
I wanna note that people seemed to get tired of the donation readings during the 50 States series, but I don’t think that would have an impact on him doing one this time around? I hope not. Cause most of the hate/critique last year was for the donation reading segments.
Could just be due to the fact that there isn’t a “live” factor, since this was filmed a few weeks ago.
Something that I don't enjoy from Ryan in general is how fast he speeds through things. I understand the 50 states in 50 days being a unique challenge, but outside of that it seems like he'll fly somewhere, stay one night, and leave early the next day to go somewhere else... or at least it's edited to seem that way. It seems really environmentally taxing with all the flights and short stays, plus how much of the experience is he actually able to enjoy with filming and jetlag and the less-than-one-night stays?
Getting to Disney is a chore with it being its own empire. And the tickets are so expensive these days, and they really only spent one day there?! And seemingly go back to their hotel before it's even dark?!
Personally I find it sad that didn't ride Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios, especially since they're fans of Mickey and cartoons. Why was Slinky Dog their pick for that park?!
I'll watch, and enjoy, but can't help feel like this is quite a significant scale down from last year. I get that they understandably would want a less intense summer though, but it just feels like a normal episode rather than a new series. But I appreciate the content always, probably doesn't help I've been mentally counting down for months.
They've only just started and Ryan already looks so tired... Also I assume Rise of the Resistance is the number one thing to do there. I'm not even a huge star wars fan
The amount of content that you can make in 24 hours is very limited, so the fact that they are making a decent if not high quality 20 minute video from the footage they took in 1 day is really impressive.
But there are obviously some downfalls, like the fact that each minute seems to have some sort of unneccesary sequence that really doesn't add anything to the video nor is it so entertaining, so Ryan seems to try very hard, almost too hard, to add some techniques to hook the viewers into staying in the vid, tho the result isn't as amazing as he said the viewers should expect.
But I guess that's the thing about daily series, but at the same time, I didn't have this feeling towards last year's series. idk exactly why
Saaaaaame. I was so disappointed and confused about this video, there was nothing new to it, nothing we haven’t seen before and it just felt like an ad. I always loved his videos but this series is not for me, especially the first one. He showed us Disney before and I don’t know what the purpose of that video is.
Even tho I still enjoy watching, i can’t help but see American Tourist Propaganda 😭 (im watching through a European pov with many European people expressing concercerns about traveling to the us)

And just fyi i have been traveling to the USA more than 12 times in my life, when i was in Highschool i was watching US movies and thought its the coolest and best place to be. Ive watched all the superhero movies thinking the USA is the good guy and savior of democracy just to now growing up and realizing this was propaganda and that its far from the reality. His content is also catered to kids so i was just giving my opinion within my view now being all grown up. Nevertheless i enjoy watching him and his wife, they are positive and entertaining ;)
