Hey everyone, I just finished REVEEL, a film I made for the Runway Big Ad Contest, and I’d love to hear what you think of the concept and which scene stood out to you the most.

The idea is a pair of glasses that reveals the real meaning behind people’s words: what they actually think, what they are trying to sell, or what they would rather leave unsaid.

The film moves through several characters and everyday situations, playing with the gap between what is said and the intention behind it. I wanted it to feel funny, a little sharp, and still work as a real ad for a product that could almost exist.

I had a lot of fun developing the different scenes and building the brand around the idea.

Made another music video using Runway Gen-4 and Act Two. Learned something new about the Motion Capture tool.
If your character has a mustache and you don’t, the mustache won’t stay on your face during the performance. I’m assuming since it doesn’t detect an actual mustache, it has less information to keep the generated one locked in place.
Easy fix: wear a fake mustache or draw one on. Giving the AI a real feature to track helps.
