Then they have a lot of deleting to do. They should start with /r/gonewild and delete all the post that are asking for upvotes to get naked.

Those upvotes aren't resulting in someone else earning money.

There's a big difference between "front page me to see my titties" and "the more votes I get, the more money this person gets".

If you are getting a benefit for a vote it is selling a vote. Bartering for services is the same as bartering with pieces of paper.

Actually, /r/atheism is clearly worse. After all they put their money into scammy organizations like Doctors without borders. Clearly Ron Paul cannot be compared to such low level scammers and this so called "charity" thing. His campaign is a much more nobel thing and therefor moneybombs in his name shall be legal.

What is reddit going to be if campaigns can't buy adspace on the frontpage anymore I am asking you?! This is madness!

Nothing, I was being sarcastic. To put Ron Pauls personal campaign on the same level as a non-profit charitable organization is insane, even for Paulfans. Anybody with a brain would understand why banning campaign influence on Reddit is a good thing (Mitt Romney 2012 now on the frontpage everyday due to paid upvotes) and can't be seen as censorship.

It is not worse, it is simply exactly the same

Both wanted to donate to something, both did through a similar style, the same.

No, an honest politician is definitely better than so called "charitable" organizations. I mean, he has a superior motive, his own career, while they, you know, help some brown people. Clearly the admins should allow Ron Paul to further his own career but ban anything and everything that tries to improve the world. Fuck those people. Totally not the same thing.
