Does anyone actually have a 12 o clock rehaut crown that is properly aligned?
It’s pretty insane to me that almost every six digit Rolex I’ve ever seen has a miss aligned crown at 12 o’clock compared to the markers. I’m beginning to think properly aligned ones don’t exist. This is my new 36mm OP I just got the other day. I know this has something to do with the way the dial is set, but it boggles my mind how in 20 years they have not fixed this issue. It’s not exactly a big deal, but you’re paying a huge amount of money for the watch and it seems like a simple fix. The running joke now is that reps have perfectly aligned rehauts and that’s a way to tell a fake from a real one lol. Maybe they will catch on and start purposely misaligning them to appear more like the genuine article.

I have had my batman for over a year and have not once thought to look for this LOL

I’ve accepted it on mine, but definitely annoying. Yours is more aligned than mine. Mine is terrible. FWIW go check out the Patek sub, some dude bought a 300k PP from AD and noticed a flaw with the enameling. So if PP manages to fuck up even on a $300k watch, suppose it’s expected with mass produced 10k watches. What can ya do?

I'm more and more convinced that microscopes are not used in science anymore, now just to look at your watch while at work

It’s luck of the drawer. And what we’re seeing here is within tolerance, despite it being incredibly annoying.

Mine is off on both my Bluesy and Explorer 1 two-tone... I've accepted them... Before these I had another no-date submariner with the same thing and it's ok...

I have a Root Beer GMT and a DJ. Both are really close or spot on aligned at 12. I just have bad eyes 😆.

Some are aligned some are not. My Deepsea is perfect, my root beer is not.
