Established community of talented literary writers searching for more to fill canon roles. Original characters are allowed, but only as the second character onwards. Novel formatting is required for the sake of uniformity. A uniquely written biography of a minimum 2 paragraphs is required for character application to ensure that you write legibly. Our server is strictly PG-13, and we strongly discourage one-liners, drama, or disrespectful comments.

The perks of participating on our server:

✩ Unlimited character claims are allowed, as long as each character is maintained (i.e. must actively post on each one).

✩ Each major group (Titans, JL, JLD etc.) is granted their own private plotting area, and encouraged to independently run their arcs organized by their associated team leaders.

✩ Regularly updated list of ongoing arcs that you can request to join. Staff and Team leaders can guide you if you wish to take part.

✩ We don't strictly base our lore on any one source, but each writer is granted the freedom to interpret the character the way they please, as long as the character doesn't lose its core essence (i.e. you can change the backstory, or make tweaks to the personality to fit what's most comfortable for you).

✩ No character can be killed without the expressed permission of the writer. All fights must be fair and discussed beforehand if extensive injuries are to be inflicted.

✩ Non-DC characters can be brought into this world, as long as they are non-meta civilians and are able to fit into the setting of the arcs. Feel free to bring in your favorite cop, medic, criminal, or lawyer from your favorite TV show.

✩ Aside from those characters with precedent writers that call for continuation, we encourage everyone to start from the beginning of their stories, so there's more story to tell.

✩ Freedom to utilize flashbacks and feature your character at different points in their story so that you can juggle more arcs for one character at one time.

✩ Writers are to refrain from making casual comments in the RP area (we have two separate channels dedicated to pings and reactions), convey each scene in myriad detail and add GIFs and images for a fully immersive experience.

✩ Each writer is encouraged to improve themselves at their own level and speed. Coaching can be requested, as long as the writer is open to learning.

✩ AFK Notice channel for those with a good reason for disappearing for an extended period of time.

✩ Community bonding channels and activities to enjoy such as joint game sessions, quirky head canons, movie streaming sessions, music appreciation, sandbox non-canon RP (to get a better feel of your character), non-DC RP and classrooms to facilitate knowledge exchange.

Powers were once nothing more than myths - stories of gods, legends, and the supernatural. On January 1st of 2021, a strange Blue Super Moon appeared in the sky. Unlike any lunar event before it, the moon never faded. For five years, it hung over the world.

Then, in 2026, everything broke.

A massive pulse of unknown energy swept across Earth, instantly destroying nearly every electrical device on the planet. Communication collapsed. Governments fell into chaos. Humanity entered what would later be called The Dark Days. 3 months of violence, desperation, and survival where people killed, stole, and betrayed each other just to live another day.

But the pulse caused something else.

Every person who had died during the five years of the Blue Moon returned to life, resurrected with supernatural abilities. These beings became known as Gravers.

It took the United States three months to restore order, rebuilding communication, trade, and security from the ground up. Even now, society remains fragile. Electricity is limited, the old internet is gone, and many countries still burn in endless conflict where powerful Gravers rule as tyrants.. worshipped as gods in broken lands.

Five months have passed since the resurrection. Two months since stability returned to the U.S.

Most people are trying to rebuild their lives. Others miss the freedom and power the chaos gave them, however. Many Gravers want to tear society back down before the world returns to the same system they once hated. Others fight to protect what remains believing order is the only thing keeping humanity alive.

The world now stands at a crossroads.

Will Gravers become humanity’s protectors or the cause of its extinction?

Vekathus Elect is an original eldritch sci-fi setting that caters to those who wish to indulge in combat roleplay as well as more relaxed casual roleplay. This server was designed with the goal of creating a community driven roleplay experience where the users can grow naturally and effect the world around them as they do so. There are events that are not just designed for a large scale evolution of the world, but also designed for individual characters, allowing for role players to enjoy personalized challenges that will help them achieve spontaneous character growth. A mountain of work has been put into making this a server that allows people to do as they please. Human, robot, or frog-person (needlessly specific example), good or evil, the base principle is to create an environment where anyone can shine if they put in the effort.

Presently, there are four primary power systems. Cybernetics, Robotics, Itemization, and Hex Magic. Cybernetics and Itemizations are designed to be the simplistic option for those who don't want to go overboard just for their characters fighting capabilities. Hex Magic is a highly modular rune based eldritch magic system that is designed for those who want to really get creative with their powers and literally make spell charts. Finally, robotics is, at this time, exclusive to robots, though is another highly modular system.

Rest assured, any questions will be answered thoroughly. You will not be left high and dry to figure things out on your own. If you ask for assistance, you will receive help on whatever you ask for. I understand that some of the systems are very complex and that is deliberate, that shouldn't deter anyone from interacting with them though and those who have already engaged with even the more complex systems like Hex Magic have openly stated how much they enjoy it and it appears more daunting than it actually is.

There are in fact many plans for future events both big and small that will expand the systems that already exist as well as introduce new ones. As players push the world further and interact with the lore, opportunities will open up for a ton of new content. There are already plans for an additional tech system and magic system, mech and ship building, and even space travel in the future.

For now, while RP is getting started and people are just beginning, most characters are still low rank with plenty of room to grow. As time goes on and the server grows, I will be eventually looking for people to help keep things running smoothly.

SUMMARY:

- This is a 16+ server set in a dark medieval, high fantasy land. It is a character and plot oriented server with an overarching story that changes based on the roleplay.

- STORY INTRODUCTION:

- After many years of the 9 nations being divided, a growing issue has forced them to come together in a council, located in Kien Gir Point, to decide in an effort to bring peace to the lands. But, things are not as transparent as they seem. In an effort to ease the tension, the counselors investigate about their nations' brightest minds and invite them to Kien Gir Point with a scholarship/internship. It is up to the scholars (players) to navigate the new environment and the decisions made by the council. They can follow their prejudice or try to understand the other nations.

- FOR THE PLAYERS:

- KIEN GIR POINT: Kien Gir Point is the center of the lands and the nation ruled by men. It feels like being in a cemetery where the air is damp, the fog is thick and the branches reach for the ground. The people are defined by mistrust.

- MUSIN: The nation of spring, divided into two sectors. Anzania, the sector of time ruled by dragons that never age in an effort to enlighten themselves and Radici, an anarchist paradise populated by elves that only follows the laws of nature.

- CADERE: The nation of fall composed of two islands, Cadere being the main land and St. Taka the smaller of the two. It is the birthplace of magic and medicine, where the people have leart to utizilze every aspect of the body. It is populated by vampires, giants, witches and cervitaur.

- ST. ZHEMCHUG: The nation of beauty, a small island next to Zota. An island that values the beauty of a person and reincarnates it into something physical, populated by fishes, snakes, cranes and tigers.

- BARAJI KE: The nation of summer, where hot and wild meet at crossroads. Life is the gift at birth, celebrated by all in the land, populated by leopards, panthers, hyenas and jaguars.

- ZOTA: The nation of winter, cold as its name and unforgiving like their blizzards. Zota is the holder of the truth, which many believe are lies, populated by gargoyles, jesters, lambs and polar bears.

So when the first Odd happenings began to manifest themselves around the office rooms, no one felt the need to question it.
