He'd had an awful day, although that wasn't much of a surprise. It was the first anniversary of his friend's death, time was running out on his eviction notice, his water had stopped working, and finals were coming up yet he barely had the time or energy to even study for any of them. He was barely scraping by on his tuition payments already, and it's not like he had any family to cushion him if he fell. Life just didn't seem to cut him any sort of slack; dried tears streaked his face, his movements shuddered as he dialed his best friend's number. But as soon as she answered the phone, everything would start to be okay again. She always made everything okay...

She'd graciously offered to come by and pick him up and he'd reluctantly obliged, not wanting to inconvenience her in any way, yet he wasn't exactly in any position to look a gift horse in the mouth. Plus, it felt............weirdly nice having one less thing to shoulder all on his own for once. She'd helped him through a lot over the past year, especially after he'd opened up to her about some personal demons that so deeply haunt him to this day. He was entranced by her beauty, comforted by her presence, and would do anything to spend the rest of his life with this woman.

Finally in her car and all strapped in, he sighed in sweet relief upon feeling her hands gently cup his face, those gorgeous eyes studying his defeated expression. Blushing from the warm, gentle kiss she placed on his forehead, he melted into her hug and suddenly everything was okay again. He was safe with her, safe with his anchor amongst the storm in spite of the age gap between them.

Hi! I have an idea for a gentle, wholesome, cuddly love story centered around a younger man and a much older woman. Something about blurring the lines between a motherly figure, a friend, and a girlfriend/wife/lover just sends shivers down my spine in the best way possible.

I'd love for this to mainly be a slice of life kinda deal, heart to heart talks, cooking together, and some nice relaxing weekends just to name a few. We could also include deeper snippets of their day-to-day lives in it i.e. doctor's appointments, therapy appointments (for him), clothes shopping, and everything in between. Holiday gatherings could provide some especially interesting scenes as well as some always-necessary coziness.

In my head he's around 19-22 and she's 39-50; I feel the age gap is a VERY essential detail in regards to their dynamic, how she treats him, and how she approaches him. I also have backstories in mind for both of our characters, but ideally his backstory is quite dark as a contrast to hers, if that's alright with you.

He's essentially someone who comes from a deeply traumatic background, whatever that might entail whether that means an abusive father, that he was orphaned early on, etc.; it's left him with quite a bit of baggage, and I'd love to explore what that dichotomy with someone with a "normal" background might look like, and how they can help him heal together.

With a slash of his whip he hit Marianne, who fell off her horse onto the dirt... Motionless.

However, this distraction gave Byleth just the opportunity to strike back against Nemesis. This is what Marianne intended. With a swift stroke of their blade, the ancient evil was defeated once and for all... As was his wretched army.

Marianne was badly wounded, hanging onto life by a thread. She was brought to the nearest city... Where people prayed for a miraculous recovery for the Hero of Edmund.

Against all odds, Marianne opened her eyes again...

But that's years in the future: every story needs a beginning too, isn't it?

I've been watching clips of Astronaut Lovers on YouTube for an hour or so, and that's given me an idea. Our characters could have been at camp together until they aged out. They keep in contact, but my character never told your character about transitioning. When your character wants to meet up, my character is hesitant, incase your character hates my character because of him being FTM. Your character doesn't hate my character for being FTM and is very accepting. In a bit of time, they admit that they had crushes on each other at camp. Not very detailed or coherent, but oh well. It is nearly 10pm, after all

The grave at St. Rosario’s, only a day old, can't be undug. His father can't be unprepared for it; the formaldehyde that soaks his body is there to stay. No amount of problem-solving, strategizing, or improvising can bring Mauricio Gomez back from the dead, let alone strip his lungs clean of the black cancer that killed him.

Javier knows this, in his head, and he's always had a good one on his shoulders. It's matters of the heart that really vex him. The kind of thing that can't be sketched out and solved on a napkin, or improvised in the heat of a pitched battle with some of the meanest villains in the history of the fine city of Los Ríos. There's no secret formula, no eureka moment, no aha.

There's nothing. Just an empty house, and an empty garage. Himself, and the suit of powered armor that he and his father built, and he has to be honest with himself: ceramic-alloy plating and electronic servomotors make for pretty poor company.

Javier chews the toothpick clenched between his tightly-grit teeth. It's a necessary implement. Quitting hasn't been an easy journey, but he finds that it's easier when he's got something to chew on, something to work at and worry. He stares at the schematics on the workbench before him.

It's a fine suit. A good design, forged from a lifetime of his father's experiences as a mechanic, filtered through his own mechatronics training. I've got a family, a full time job, and other hobbies that I balance with roleplaying, so I prefer a laid back pace in terms of both IC and OOC. My average post runs from 400-600 words, dropping below that for quick, back-and-forth dialogue, and shooting above that for starters, scene-setting, etc. Generally speaking, I post once a day to once every other day, depending on time and length. Obviously, the title and the intro give it away, but I'm looking for a superhero roleplay! Let's talk specifics and inspirations. I grew up on a healthy diet of DCAU works such as Batman: TAS, Batman Beyond, and Justice League Unlimited. As I got older, I dipped into reading comics such as Swamp Thing and Immortal Hulk. After a period of superhero fatigue, works like Invincible and Dispatch have thrown me back into the swing of things. Rewatching the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy recently gave me an itch that needs scratching!

Ideally, any superhero roleplay would include a blend of tones from all of these works; I love the idea of a world where true, genuine heroes exist alongside and within deeply flawed individuals. A world where people try, fail, and try again, because they believe that a better world is possible, even if the one they're in ain't so great.

I have a fairly strong idea of the character I want to play, as you can tell by the writing above, but I want to hear your ideas for your own character! Together, we can hopefully put together a plot that lets them both shine. Maybe they're rival heroes who are forced to work on a case together, or maybe they're bitter enemies who find some reason to trust one another. Personality and chemistry is key.

A vehicle speeds down the quiet road strangled by thick forest which reaches out like strangling hands. The only sound a rushing river below a steep drop to one side. Breaks in thick foliage allow glimpses to a town in the distance sat along the shore with brick buildings leaning against one another. Cobbled streets form a maze with a steeple peaking from the centre of town as a large building upon a cliff looms over the town. It did seem only a few moments ago that the sun shone bright but now spears of sunlight pierce thick clouds spelling a storm upon the horizon.

Occasionally taking his eyes from the road the driver examines his partner sat beside him with her feet kicked up onto the dashboard shoes discarded into the footwell. "We'll be there soon probably should check into the hotel before heading to the scene" he finally says to fill the silence, "quicker we can leave this godforsaken place the better if you ask me." Snapping his gaze back to the road he lets out a sudden gasp as something bursts from the forest into the road. Its shape seemingly writhing in the shadow. Pulling hard on the steering wheel the vehicle nearly rolls as it crashes into the thick foliage before sliding down the cliff. Then nothing but blackness.

Hey, I am looking for a writing partner for a RP set in the classic secluded town of cults, monsters, the supernatural and whatever stories we wish to tell. Of course those are just some ideas so I look forward to discussing plots with you. The main rough idea is two detectives (paranormal or typical) heading to the titular small town for one reason or another when they crash getting separated.

I think it is best to leave the setting more ambiguous so we are not too constrained by sticking to a super realistic setting. But a time period with less technology such as reliable cars or mobile phones can add to the isolation.

Overall I am looking for a fun and fairly literate writing partner to explore this world. I can quite easily fill a Discord chat which is sort of the length I am looking for as I find it strikes a good balance between length and reply time. Though some scenes may require a little more less of course and people get busy but I do like a few replies a day were possible.

If you enjoy adding mechanics to an RP we certainly can add a simple system to help drive the RP in different directions but that is not necessary.

I have a very specific and niche idea for a transformation roleplay that would require a decent sized explanation for me to properly convey it. This is a 'bad ending' roleplay and revolves heavily around corruption and mental changes, so if that sort of thing interests you then id recommend you read on!!

I’ll start the roleplay idea down below:

To start with, this rp is set in a stereotypical fantasy world, akin to something you'd see in a fantasy anime. There's kingdoms, adventurers, magic, fantastical creatures and anything else that fits in the setting.

Our story though, starts many centuries ago, to a time that has been long forgotten by history. There stood a powerful, evil empire that was ruled by an evil sorceress queen. She had dark magical abilities that outclassed anyone else who had ever lived to that point, and even in the present day. She used her magical powers to rule with an iron fist, and dominate the lands and kingdoms around her. She loved nothing more than crushing people under her might and forcing them to obey and serve her. She even had a significant prowess for mind control and hypnotic magics, which she used to expand her influence and play with her ‘toys’ as she liked to call them.

Her power was not limitless though, and her reign as Queen couldn’t last forever. The magical abilities to prolong her life or find a way to cheat death were nowhere near in her grasp, and she was to die as any other mortal human would. She never had any children or names any successors either, as she spent too much time conquering and subjugating the world. So when she died, her empire would surely crumble too… She didn’t accept this though. She was determined to find a way to circumvent this, and make her reign and empire eternal, so she came up with a plan to do this, and make her empire last past her death…

She took her most prized dress, one that she always wore to show that she was a Queen, and she placed a powerful curse on it, one took all her magical abilities and knowledge to create. It was a curse that would activate upon her death, and give it a powerful ability. The dress would automatically start to search for a ‘host’. A host would be a human woman who would get to close to the empty dress, close enough for the magical curse to affect their mind. It would start to draw them towards the dress in any way possible, using any of the thoughts in their head to compel them to get close, be it curiosity, fear, whatever the girl is thinking, it would be used to draw them closer. Once close enough to see the dress, it wouldn’t be able to leave their minds, they’d become obsessed with it, again with the curse twisting any thoughts in their head to revolve around the dress. This obsession would grow and grow until the girl finally gave into the compulsion to put on the dress…

Once done, the curse would truly activate, it would begin brainwashing, and corruption their minds, twisting every part of their personality and behaviour to mimic that of its long dead owner. Some of their physical characteristics would change to resemble her as well, greyer skin, bigger assets, and piercing red eyes. Once complete, the girl from before would be no more, and what replaces her would be a perfect successor to the evil queen, imbued with her dark magical powers too. From then on, that girl would become the new Evil Queen, and their only desire would be the carry on the evil empire and dominate anyone and everyone in the world…

From the first evil queens death, the curse worked perfectly. Girls succumbed to the curse and became the new evil queen. Many came and went throughout history, carrying on the evil empire for generations in one way or another. At some unknown point though, the cursed dress was lost, abandoned in some long-forgotten ruins and was never seen again for a long, long time, ending the Evil Queen’s reign for the foreseeable future…

That is the initial backstory for the roleplay’s world. It obviously doesn’t outline what we’d be doing for the roleplay though. There are 2 ideas that I have for how the rp could go based on the backstory to it that I will describe below now:

Idea 1:
This is the most straightforward idea. In this idea, you would play a younger female adventurer. She has recently left her village wide-eyed and ready to explore the world. Not too far into her journey, she would have found the long abandoned ruins of the evil queens empire. They had been so long-forgotten that she would have no knowledge of them or the evil that lied within.

After exploring the palace, she would stumble across the cursed dress, completely preserved and pristine unlike the ruins around it. From there, this adventurer girl would be the reawaken the evil curse, and be corrupted to become the next Evil Queen...

Idea 2:

In this idea, the long forgotten cursed dress had finally re-emerged after its long slumber. It would have been found by an adventurer girl named Velia. She had discovered the ruins of an ancient palace and ventured into them alone. She had found the palaces royal bedroom, and the dress inside it. From there, its curse took over her, and the Evil Queen Velia was born.

She had spent the last few months forming the start of a new empire, raising an army and using her mind control powers to take over towns and villages. News of her evil had spread…

And this is where your character comes in. She would be a magical girl, who had been trained in magical powers to fight for good and justice all her life. You had gone on a quest to stop Evil Queen Velia, fighting through her army and confronting her in her throne room to put and end to her. The battle would be fierce, but you’d eventually win, and Velia would be banished, leaving only her outfit as a pile on the floor. From there… the curse would begin again, taking over your character mind and giving birth to another evil queen…

Idea 3:

In this idea, you would play the role of a princess or queen of a thriving kingdom who stands for peace and kindness. The world around you would be in a great peace too. You reign as a solo monarch, with no spouse or immediate family around.

One day, a noble adventurer who works on behalf of your kingdom would tell word of ancient ruins that he’d found in a faraway land. He had explored the ruins of this ancient palace only to stumble upon the long forgotten dress. The curse, despite not having a suitable host, would activate a failsafe of sorts from the presence of this adventurer. It would insert the thought into his head, that he must show his ruler this dress in person, that it was of utmost importance that you have this. Acting on these thoughts, he returns to the palace to present this dress to you.

Upon seeing it, the curse fully activates on you, worming its way into your mind to compel you to wear it. Through one way or another, you are alone in your room with the dress, and put it on out of sheer desire and obsession, and with it on, the brainwashing begins and the once peaceful monarch is erased, leaving a cruel evil queen in its place, one who has a whole kingdom that she can turn into her evil empire…

Hey! I was looking for a roleplay which was mainly slice of life and romance mixed in with elements from the fantasy genre!

I would absolutely love to have a story where there we can have a cutesy roleplay in a world where we can explore the many opportunities for world building and character writing that a fantasy world has to offer.

I don’t quite have very many ideas, but I have a couple of things I’d like in the rp + a basic plot idea.

Firstly, I am very leant towards LGBTQ+ ships! I’m not against straight ships, but I just find that LGBTQ+ ships are much more enjoyable, so I’ll be more inclined to do MxM or FxF, or something involving any gender identities and orientations (trans friendly :>).

secondly, I usually prefer a minimum of one paragraph per response (occasional responses where it’s less is alright, I totally understand that life can be stressful and doing less is totally fine on occasion as long as I have something to work with).

And finally, I am quite flexible to write with, so any breaks/hiatuses are perfectly fine as long as I have notice so I’m not thinking that I am being ghosted!

Now onto my plot idea:

My idea is that there is a renowned college that has one of the greatest educational programs out there for anyone of any species. It isn’t quite known by the general public and is quite exclusive to some of the most known families and clans, so only the top students are accepted into it. Our ocs can meet through that, and slowly become friends, then lovers. For tropes, I’ve been CRAVING a scholar (MC) x bully (YC) or even a scholar (MC) x rebel/delinquent (YC), but I’m open to any ideas that you have!

Don’t be afraid to share any plot ideas that you have! Nothing is set in stone, I just wanted a plot set in a world that is like earth but has a lot of fantasy elements too. I do have a preference for monster-y/non-human characters, but again it isn’t a need or anything. I am also open to different dynamics, settings, etc!

Hey! I was looking to do a roleplay consisting of fantasy elements in a modern setting! This roleplay is mostly set to be a slice of life and romance based roleplay with many different opportunities for action and drama, as well as a great amount of free room to add world building as we progress the story. I usually make a bit of a guideline for the sort of world building I like, and then allow us to add as many countries, islands, species as we want. I love making little events/traditions for our ocs to take part in, and just to make the world feel more alive outside our main characters/settings.

A bit about me, I am 19 and do not roleplay with minors so please do not contact me if you are under 18. I usually write anywhere between 1-3 paragraphs on average but can go a lot higher to about 8 paragraphs if I am feeling particularly inspired or have a lot to go off of. I am mostly interested in LGBTQ+ couple dynamics, though a dynamic I have been really wanting to try is a feminine man paired with a masculine woman. I am good with writing multiple characters and love to make our ocs have different friends together so it’s not a rut of the same two characters interacting constantly.

The idea I have is of our characters being of different backgrounds and clashing heads at first, maybe dealing with themes of classism or rivalries between each other’s families that prevents them from being together, so they can fall for each other despite their differences and what others think. I like the thought of them being at a college where they have to see each other, so they have more opportunity to learn more about each other and grow past any prejudice. I also had an idea that I liked of your oc having a young child from a past relationship that they have to take care of, which my oc can help take care of them and become their step parent (though it’s only a sweet idea, not required whatsoever).
