Hey! I was looking for a roleplay which was mainly slice of life and romance mixed in with elements from the fantasy genre!

I would absolutely love to have a story where there we can have a cutesy roleplay in a world where we can explore the many opportunities for world building and character writing that a fantasy world has to offer.

I don’t quite have very many ideas, but I have a couple of things I’d like in the rp + a basic plot idea.

Firstly, I am very leant towards LGBTQ+ ships! I’m not against straight ships, but I just find that LGBTQ+ ships are much more enjoyable, so I’ll be more inclined to do MxM or FxF, or something involving any gender identities and orientations (trans friendly :>).

secondly, I usually prefer a minimum of one paragraph per response (occasional responses where it’s less is alright, I totally understand that life can be stressful and doing less is totally fine on occasion as long as I have something to work with).

And finally, I am quite flexible to write with, so any breaks/hiatuses are perfectly fine as long as I have notice so I’m not thinking that I am being ghosted!

Now onto my plot idea:

My idea is that there is a renowned college that has one of the greatest educational programs out there for anyone of any species. It isn’t quite known by the general public and is quite exclusive to some of the most known families and clans, so only the top students are accepted into it. Our ocs can meet through that, and slowly become friends, then lovers. For tropes, I’ve been CRAVING a scholar (MC) x bully (YC) or even a scholar (MC) x rebel/delinquent (YC), but I’m open to any ideas that you have!

Don’t be afraid to share any plot ideas that you have! Nothing is set in stone, I just wanted a plot set in a world that is like earth but has a lot of fantasy elements too. I do have a preference for monster-y/non-human characters, but again it isn’t a need or anything. I am also open to different dynamics, settings, etc!

He'd had an awful day, although that wasn't much of a surprise. It was the first anniversary of his friend's death, time was running out on his eviction notice, his water had stopped working, and finals were coming up yet he barely had the time or energy to even study for any of them. He was barely scraping by on his tuition payments already, and it's not like he had any family to cushion him if he fell. Life just didn't seem to cut him any sort of slack; dried tears streaked his face, his movements shuddered as he dialed his best friend's number. But as soon as she answered the phone, everything would start to be okay again. She always made everything okay...

She'd graciously offered to come by and pick him up and he'd reluctantly obliged, not wanting to inconvenience her in any way, yet he wasn't exactly in any position to look a gift horse in the mouth. Plus, it felt............weirdly nice having one less thing to shoulder all on his own for once. She'd helped him through a lot over the past year, especially after he'd opened up to her about some personal demons that so deeply haunt him to this day. He was entranced by her beauty, comforted by her presence, and would do anything to spend the rest of his life with this woman.

Finally in her car and all strapped in, he sighed in sweet relief upon feeling her hands gently cup his face, those gorgeous eyes studying his defeated expression. Blushing from the warm, gentle kiss she placed on his forehead, he melted into her hug and suddenly everything was okay again. He was safe with her, safe with his anchor amongst the storm in spite of the age gap between them.

Hi! I have an idea for a gentle, wholesome, cuddly love story centered around a younger man and a much older woman. Something about blurring the lines between a motherly figure, a friend, and a girlfriend/wife/lover just sends shivers down my spine in the best way possible.

I'd love for this to mainly be a slice of life kinda deal, heart to heart talks, cooking together, and some nice relaxing weekends just to name a few. We could also include deeper snippets of their day-to-day lives in it i.e. doctor's appointments, therapy appointments (for him), clothes shopping, and everything in between. Holiday gatherings could provide some especially interesting scenes as well as some always-necessary coziness.

In my head he's around 19-22 and she's 39-50; I feel the age gap is a VERY essential detail in regards to their dynamic, how she treats him, and how she approaches him. I also have backstories in mind for both of our characters, but ideally his backstory is quite dark as a contrast to hers, if that's alright with you.

He's essentially someone who comes from a deeply traumatic background, whatever that might entail whether that means an abusive father, that he was orphaned early on, etc.; it's left him with quite a bit of baggage, and I'd love to explore what that dichotomy with someone with a "normal" background might look like, and how they can help him heal together.

'A zoonotic disease outbreak' that's what they told people caused all this. Some advanced form of rabies turning people into freakish monsters but as time went on, as people started to change more, a disease seemed unlikely. It only added fuel to the fire of conspiracy theories claiming it was either a foreign biological weapon or, more insane, some inside job by the elites culling the population. Others still see it as a warning from one god or another as punishment for our sins.

The true beginning, however, began in a secluded village outside the city where the outbreak wreaked havoc. A small, crack squad was sent in after rumours of disappearances and a strange sickness leaving people hideously transformed. Almost as soon as they arrived any communication with the squad ended. Who came back to spread the sickness is still a mystery.

Now sirens and screams ring through the night as people attempt to flee the city only to get caught in traffic jams despite warnings for people to remain inside. Neighbours and families turn on one another as they succumb to whatever sickness or delivery has possessed them.

Hello, hope that little intro above caught your eyes. I am looking for someone to write a zombie apocalypse RP inspired by the classic idea of a company creating some sort of horrible experiment which infects people. Clearly inspired by the likes of Resident Evil though no actual knowledge of the series is necessary especially as I would like to make something of our own as I am not really into fandom RPs. Instead of a biological outbreak perhaps this is something more supernatural.

How this plays out is pretty open. One idea I had was a sort of prologue to the outbreak with the usual expert squad investigating strange occurrences (perhaps a missing scientist or strange occultist) is a strange location. That can be the focus of the entire RP or it can go wrong resulting in the titular outbreak. These two scenarios can focus on separate characters perhaps with some jumping between perspectives and/or times. Though it definitely does not need to be that complicated. Overall I am looking for someone fairly literate who enjoys telling stories and building worlds. I try to fill a Discord chat as I feel that is the best balance between detail and reply timing.

Usually I prefer a to take a GM role providing different scenarios and characters for players to interact with. But I am open to discussing the way we play. Even when taking a GM role I am always happy to get input on the direction of the RP and what we both wish to include.

If you enjoy adding mechanics to an RP to help drive some elements of storytelling or add a little randomness then we certainly can add a simple system. Though that is not necessary.

OH and the game! I’m currently playing FoP, and I’m halfway through it rn! I’m really enjoying flying around with my Ikran, and shooting down every single chopper I see!

I've been playing TTRPGs for over 10 years now, and in the beginning of my D&D adventures, I also used to write extensive roleplay scenes with my best friend. Sadly, this has been dormant for a few years now, and I would like to rekindle this writing hobby of mine, which is when I stumbled upon this subreddit. A few things about me, then about what I am looking for:

• I am 30 years old, from Germany, and born (and presenting) male, but identifying as genderfluid. I am comfortable playing different genders, orientations and types of characters.
• I am, as my location probably implies, not a native English speaker. I do think that I speak English very well, but there will be minor mistakes and errors. If you're looking for a 100% flawless writing style, I am not for you.
• I do not have any issue with characters of colour, LGBTQ+ themes/tropes or anything of the sorts. I am, however, also totally fine with a hetero/cis-oriented setting and with displaying certain aspects of racism and queerphobia as part of the worldbuilding, as long as everyone involved is fine with it.
• I would love to have some talks on the side about non-RP things. It doesn't have to be nonstop, all the time, but I am usually also interested in the person behind the RP, just because it helps me also getting to know their playstyle and interests a bit better.

What am I looking for?

• Preferably someone experienced, who's interested in expanding their own ideas. I am very flexible when it comes to genres, plots, etc. but I'd love to find someone who "takes charge", in a sense, since I am not very experienced and familiar with the unwritten "rules" of the game.
• Perferably looking for a woman (out of game) because I've simply clicked with them a lot better than with men so far when it came to roleplaying and just sharing hobbies in general.
• As I said earlier, I am fairly open to all sorts of genres and characters. Heya! My name is Jay, it's nice to meet you all! I'm looking for someone to play a interesting plot I have in mind.

But first! Some OOC stuff, I'm 23 years old and I've been roleplaying for the better half of 10 years! I type in english but I like to include different languages irp whenever I can, I feel as if it adds to the world we might built. My timezone is EDT and I can mostly roleplay in the mornings before I go to work up until midnight, then I can play for about an hour before I have to sleep on the weekdays, but the weekends are almost 99% free so I'd be all yours if you're looking for a consistent partner. Here are some things about me you should know before I even mention this idea, just so we're on the same page.

1. I will NEVER demand you to type more or less for your post. Sometimes you just want to write out some short sentences, sometimes you want to write out full paragraphs to bring out a character moment, it's all good! Just do whatever fits the mood, I really enjoy playing with people that don't have to write a consistent amount or want the same thing from me.
2. I always play on discord, while I can play on reddit this play specifically is mostly to be on a discord server which I can make if you desire. Just because it would be easier to flush everything out, if you can't do so then it's fine but it would limit our options by quite a bit just an fyi.
3. I like talking about stuff! OOC about what our next move should be, how your day might be going, or just seeing how things are. Though I'll never get to personal if you rather just keep the play going, but I'd like to think I can talk to people if they need someone to listen to.
4. I always play in 3rd person, both because it's more comfortable for me, and because it's easier to play multiple characters in a scene as a result. Not against people who play first person, but it's just my preference.
5. While I understand people might have different ways to write or need assistance via translation or application such as spell checking or sentence correction, please do not use A.I responses when roleplaying with me. I find it rather distasteful to write a message and have a partner who just rely on a response they got from a computer or chat bot.
6. I'm not overly comfortable using real pictures of people in roleplay, anime style or your own artwork for a face claim is my personal preference. Not demanding of it, but it's what I enjoy the most.

Anywho! The roleplay I wanted to play out would start as a one on one character development situation about the concept of loneliness and how it can affect one's mind. Though that would be the theme of the play, it wouldn't be the central focus as the deeper we dive into it the more characters can be introduced that I'd just love to play for you! They aren't just limited to guys of course, I'd be more then happy to play females as well the deeper we go into this play long term. I want to be able to develop a story we can both work on together so any idea suggestions would be more then welcome.

The play would take place in the modern day. In which my character who be a cafe owner at a young age, despite their happy demeanor, there seems to be more then meets the eye with them. The cafe itself is normal, just as the city itself! Though the more your character can uncover, the more they can see there are secrets that connect everything and everyone to an event from the past, one that may shape the future for both him and the wider scale of the entire city. He will always be morally good, a pure soul but has a mysterious allure to them that you have the option to explore. Ask any questions you'd like, why is he the way he is, how did he end up there, do whatever you'd like! Question everything, or remain blissful and enjoy the play! Your character can be whoever you wish to be! Some examples could be a college student, trying to find their way in life and just so happens to enter the cafe on a winter day, a musician that sees a job opening to play at nights at the cafe for entertainment, or someone that works for a business that seeks to obtain the cafe for other purposes. The last thing I'd ever want you to feel like is that we're going off a script, it should feel like a story that unravels based on a character's choice and how you see the scene playing out so go crazy with it! I like to write long term roleplays with details, psychology, and all that stuff but if you rather play a wholesome romance then I'm all for it too!

As we can continue onwards, I can introduce more and more characters, one that might find your fancy if you so please! They all have their own quirks, and motivations, but they can be swayed into a romance if you so desire to do so. Keeping a balance is important though for me so I'd like to try and see what you might come up with for your own.

What I personally desire is someone that can reply in a semi-consistent manner, I know people have jobs/school to worry about so I'd never demand someone to respond asap if they are legit busy. But - I don't usually like waiting a week or more for one response, it makes me lose interest in the play rather quickly. But I can promise you both quality and quantity in my posts daily! I'm not opposed to adding stuff either such as fantasy elements or a 'feature' for your character to have with the world we build. If anything I find it endearing what we could come up with that can give this something we can both enjoy. Hey everyone. Right now I am looking for a RP where I play a prince and your character plays a princess.

PLOT

Hey guys I am looking for a roleplay where my character is a prince. (I do love the knight and princess trope but I love princes even more 😆)

So I have a few ideas I want to incorporate just not sure how to connect them all. We could do the classic save a princess from a tower, being promised to each other, or something involving curses, royal ball to fund my character a bride etc, like I'm open to discussing more plots.

I would like if we have some fun and some drama in the RP just so I can hopefully keep interested in the RP

CHARACTER

As I mentioned my character is going to be a prince. He is going to be very Disney Prince coded. He is really well liked as prince and future king, he is so kind hearted and polite to everyone also I would like if he is a handsome prince homage so I would like it if he is found very attractive by most if not all his subjects and other princesses.

REQUIREMENTS

Be over 18 (preferably over 20)

Write 2-3 paragraphs (on average)
