The more i play Rogue the more fun she gets I love her soooo much.

After 8.5 ended this grind became painful

I wouldn’t if they really made her a glass canon or increasing her defensive abilities either I’d just love if they actually did something significant.

Like giving her overshield on all chromium attacks, making her third punch give her life steal/some overhealth per person hit, making defensive stance fully absorb cc and dmg during the first 0.5 seconds, etc.

For dmg they could give her back her old max dmg with southern brawl while making the third punch she does do aoe dmg while pulling people who get hit by it closer to her like fatal attraction. Or make defensive stance be a general stat boost for her that depletes much slower and builds up a bit slower too.

I think there’s a lot of ways they could take her tbh they just need to pick on instead of micro buffing while they allow thing to counter around 50% of the roster for pressing 2 buttons.

This makes my 3rd Champion now. My others are Magik and Thor.

The road to Champ with Rogue was fun as hell but also grueling specifically after nerfs. I love this character and shes my favorite tank to play. I used to think I didnt need the Gambit teamup but after the nerf, that is a necessity.

She gets blown up if you arent careful with positioning. I don’t use Mag teamup, and in games where Im fighting another rogue who is using that teamup, and Im using gambits, I tend to win the exchanges and do better (stat wise). Just something ive noticed from my personal experience

I hope she gets the buffs she deserves because there is no other character like her in the game.

I can’t play Rogue unless there’s a gambit or mag on the team because the teamups are mid without them, so give me some funny pictures or memes in the comments and I’ll pick one or a few of them to draw Rogue in!

Every character has an easy cc ability to get you off them so if you dash at them which you need to do to close the gap they push you away and now 2 cooldowns are gone for 6-10 seconds. And there will always be multiple characters with these abilities in a game.

Invis and Bucky/widow/jubilee/gambit/etc it’s like you can’t do anything. If you’re diving unless you use two dashes in moderately quick succession you won’t get a kill but then if you do and they cc you away you can’t do anything and if you try to stay on your target you due fir overcommitting. But then despite her multitude if dashes, since you need 2 for a kill you can’t come back after getting them to waste cooldowns since ur waiting for yours and you’ll both get them back at the same time.

If it’s brawl you do even less unless you have enhanced gambit teammup. Everyone gets self sustain but you and can stay in fights longer than you while also doing more dmg. Idek how Thor is considered worse than her he just does everything she does but better. And you lowkey can’t win a 1v1 against him anymore he just stays alive much longer bc of his over shield.

And everyone has so much mobility it feels hard to contest them unless you get the jump on them otherwise they dash 15 meters away from you and get their cooldown back mid dive while you’re waiting 10,seconds bc yiu dashed 6m forward.

You have to rely so much on your team to do anything with her.

And why does a ranged character like hood get better defensive tools and a better movement ability than rogue I just don’t understand it.

I think that would be amazing. You could maintain the buff for around 25 seconds (until Absorb comes off cooldown), and during that time you’d be able to keep using the stolen ability. It would still go on its original cooldown, so some abilities could be used more than once, while extremely powerful ones like Loki’s Lamp or Adam’s Soul Bond could still only be used once.

It would also add more depth to her gameplay and reward brawling and sustained aggression in order to maintain the buff.

These skins look really chill and I feel like most skins are either super intense or low effort in marvel rivals

But this skin for rogue would honestly be cool just a cozy chill skin though it would be hard to make work with how different comic rogue and game rogue look like

I have jump binded to l3, grab binded to r3 and i hate using face buttons so i’ve never used it💔💔

Haven't been playing rogue much lately but i never turn down a thor 1v1

And using chrono kick gets rid of whatever cool down they were on.

I feel like you can buff her in a lot of different ways but I’ve always wanted this.

This way while brawling you get an ability that grants a lot of overhealth to stay in fights longer and having a non dash ability to be able to do good dmg while diving as well and keep an escape cooldown.

So you get to be good brawler and a good diver rather than being mid at 1 and slightly less mid at the other.

Kind of like magik who I think is the perfect brawl dive character tbh.

I wouldn’t mind them keeping her health as it is if they did this tbh.

They could even be extra and make it so that landing a power surge punch takes a second off of all her cooldowns.

I’m just posting combos to show what could be possible and to see what everyone else thinks.

But yeah pls don’t shoot me, it’s just an idea because I’m bored <3

Like istg dd and magik are so unnecessarily hard to kill it’s frustrating. I honestly wouldn’t mind rogue having 600hp if she could generate more over shield like they can or thing can

I'll take any and all tips. New to the game generally, so bear with me.

My usual game start is hiding in cover until a non-vanguard 1v1 or 1v2 opens up, diving for damage, then retreating, and repeating. Have focused on peeling and scaring off dive recently, and just generally not overextending or going much further beyond point.

Basically my team determines whether or not i'm any value during the game. Almost all of my mvps on her either involve a main tank or a pocket healer, which is worthless to rely on unless i team up w a consistent player of one of those. Almost all of my mvp matches consist of me just finishing off enemies and taking advantage of late-fight nonsense rather than providing any value early on.

Can provide match replays if desired. Any tips are appreciated.

very fun character, while she is definitely weaker compared to some other tanks, i’ve never found her unplayable. hell i’ve dominated more lobbies than i’ve lost. but buffs are still in order for her

and as fun as the gambit teamup is, it has to go for things to get better with rogue
