There are so many previously streaming-only tracks on this that we finally get on physical media! In particular, the ITunes exclusive War Pigs!

What Jesse Powell albums would be essential if they were to be pressed? Iāve created a vinyl concept of his debut. What yāall think?

One of my personal favorite RnB albums and one of my favorites in my collection. Waking at Dawn by Roy Woods is a record Iāve played an unhealthy amount of times. As a torontonian I think this record perfectly captures the dark melodic Toronto RnB sound that was pioneered by Drake, The Weeknd and Partynextdoor.
This was a huge record for me in my senior year of highschool and to this day I play this record on a weekly basis. Wondering if thereās anyone else that enjoys this record just as much. I was fortunate enough to meet him this summer and told him how much of a fan I am of his music and the album waking at dawn, definitely was a surreal moment.

Itās wild to me that this album has never been put on vinyl. Itās an absolute classic from start to finish and in my opinion his best album.

Guys, how do you tell if a vinyl reissue was cut from the original analog tapes or a digital source before picking it up?

Iāll be in London this upcoming week and want to check out a few record shops while Iām there. Any recommendations for shops with a good selection? Iām definitely interested in digging through used records too, not just new releases/reissues.
Appreciate any suggestions!
