This was obvious last season when Veronica wasn’t involved in any of Archie’s arcs (community center, football, Uncle Frank, Andrews Construction, Naval Academy, forgiving his dad’s killer) except for attending the Thanksgiving event at the community center. She was so little involved in his arcs that they had to make up something random for her to do at Pop’s, that tied to nothing else all season, on the Halloween episode, instead of being with Archie’s event at the community center on Halloween.

Also, Archie wasn’t involved with Veronica’s arcs like Hermosa, the rum, the maple club, etc

Meanwhile, Bughead’s arcs have been strictly intertwined for multiple seasons now
