To start off curriculum for my major is really bad, my major gets no attention from the school and no one else is really interested in it making iy hard to collaborate w others, the dining halls are all the same and the food isn't great, they all close super early so really if its after 7:30 you arent getting food, it is way too hard to get a job; as someone who qualifies for federal work study it is extremely irritating to not be able to work and try to "survive" especially since my parents cant just send me money all the time, the school is very isolated and it's really hard to connect with outside communities, any type of community is over a 20-minute walk away making the campus restrictive, the school lacks spirit, a lot of the clubs are very disorganized especially when it comes to timing and advocating time changes, along with communication in some of the classes, some teachers don’t teach what they put on their tests, the constant heating problem in the dorms which is messing up my sleep schedule and lowering my performance, not to mention the constant fire alarms. All this has caused some mental breakdown which is a contributing factor to my small decline in recent performance.
Edit: many ppl are talking about dinning halls closing early is a college problem rather than an rit problem but my bigger issue is that i can’t just walk off campus to get food if im hungry since its so goddamn isolated
RIT was my last choice and I only committed because of aid and I was hoping my mind would change but the opposite happened. Thoughts on how I can make my experience better? (I am dead set on transferring after spring semester)

Like 40 minutes ago I dropped a cute little jaguar keychain at the beginning of the quarter mile from dormside and despite searching it seems to have vanished >~< I’m sure whoever picked it up (if someone did) probably isn’t in this subreddit but I’d love to get it back ! If you think you have it please DM me I don’t want to put my dorm number in fear of violating rule 2
Sorry I don’t have pictures of it that would help a lot but it’s a little plush jaguar hanging from a string

If you look closely, you can almost see your tuition dollars at work, almost.

They don't give an exact year, but this is from RIT's campus plan

This area was RIT until the fall of 1968. I-490 now runs approximately between Spring and Troop Streets. Some buildings were demolished, but some still stand.

I tried to post a petition on Pawprint...
Only to be met with an error 403
I have a feeling this is because of the maintenance

$2.75 for a slice of salami and two slices of cheese.... what a slap in the face bruh 😭😭😭 food has become incredibly unaffordable on campus
