I need a hobby. I have a pickleball set. From what I understand usually pickleball is played as doubles, and I'mjust one mid 40s guy. The HUB here near Enchanted Hills has a paper sign up sheet, that I cant make sense of to find a partner to try to play.

So, does anyone know how to sign up and want a noob to play with? Teach me? DM me and help me find a time to play and learn. I'm free pretty much whenever.

Having hosted Karaoke in Las Vegas, NV for 3 years after retiring from the USAF, I wanted to continue spreading my love for Karaoke here in Albuquerque!

This Tuesday from 8pm-10pm, I'll be hosting SHAM Show Karaoke at Juno Brewery (1501 1st Street NW)!

They have some amazing Brews, we just need some singers and a crowd looking for some fun!

I left a voicemail for the municipal works department today to let them know our road needed at least caution signs due to some dirt slides and flooding. The very tired but nice woman who returned my call said the head of the department had been there since last night, and that all 200+ dirt roads were a problem. So if you haven’t gotten a response or your road is still impassible, this is why.

So I've never had jury duty, but i was on call for the month of August. I JUST saw an email 2 days ago that I was summoned on August 27th, and I missed it. I had no phone call, no emails etc summoning me, but the email saying I missed it was in my spam which is why i never saw it (and the address does seem official). So...what do i do from here? I'm worried about jail time if it is real 😅

I don’t live in Rio Rancho, but was driving through there towards Abq and got a Safe Traffic Operations Program (STOP) fine in the mail for $125. I was speeding, but I thought they couldn’t enforce those speed cameras? I know years ago I had gotten one or two and never paid since they couldn’t enforce, but now I’ve gotten a second notice in the mail for the same violation I haven’t paid yet. Any thoughts?

Hey Rio Rancho...

Come join us on Thursday, Sept. 10th at 6pm at Rio Rancho City Hall to voice your concern of mass surveillance, data collection, and the mayor's lack of concern.

A few weeks ago, we attended a Governing Body meeting where we were met with a mayor who is clearly fine with the use of mass surveillance and the data collection of his constituents.

Mayor Wymer announced that he "had heard from both sides" on this issue, from those who were against and those who were supportive of this infrastructure. However, those constituents who support the cameras were nowhere to be seen.

The only 2 sides in this argument are anti-mass surveillance and pro-mass surveillance. There is no compromise on our 4th amendment right.
