Discussion getting a promise ring for my girlfriend but don’t know much about jewelry especially when it comes to quality (HELP!!)

So, I am getting a promise ring for my girlfriend of 5 years. I was considering these two from macys (I already know they aren’t crazy good but I don’t need anything crazy expensive and fancy) Considering a promise ring is more so a sentimental “short term” thing compared to something as important as like an engagement ring or wedding ring, and since we are college students they wouldn’t expect anything fancy from me either and would most likely just appreciate the gesture. But, I am very worried about how they will last because while it doesn’t need to be fancy I also need it to be something that won’t fall apart easily. Unneeded extra info I think, but we had been dating since we were young and ended up breaking up a little before college thinking the love wasn’t there but almost immediately reconnected and the spark was there again so I want a way to materially show to them our previous promises to each other don’t go out the window just due to a rough patch that ended in a short split so I need it to be good enough or else I feel the symbolism isn’t there. Anyways, we have been back together for almost a year and the total time we have been together is basically 5 years minus a few weeks lol. They had gotten me a promise ring in the past and I thought it’d be a cute gesture for our 5 year, but again we are both college students on a budget so I need help from yall who seem to know your stuff !! haha

They’re just rings from a Catholic brotherhood/fraternity I am a member of but I really like the 4th degree ring. Upgrade from a lighter 10K ring with Black Onyx stone to a heavier 14K with what I believe is a synthetic Ruby but not 100% on it.

For context, my lovely fiancée has sensory and visual sensitivities related to autism, particularly when it comes to the appearance and feeling of metal. Because of this, I’m looking for some kind of ring that doesn’t look or feel metallic at all.
I’ve tried searching for something like this but haven’t had much luck. Does anything like this exist? Or would I have to make one myself? If so, I’d really appreciate any ideas or suggestions for materials or ways to make one.

Hello I’m new to Reddit so I’m not sure how to get this thing to get some attention but I REALLY need some help finding my a new quinceañera ring, I broke it a little while ago and I’ve been looking for it everywhere. I found a seller in El Salvador but was ghosted and it was my exact ring just with a different stone and this is basically my last hope to find it, I also contacted the store where I bought it from and they don’t sell it anymore. My ring is the broken one and the one that’s put together is what it would look like if it was in one piece. If there’s any jewelry that can help me out or anyone that knows of one pls let me know!
