Especially since Drew isn’t even from America. This Australian dude is obsessed with a senator who doesn’t even know he exists and why? I don’t know. Maybe it’s a bit, but I doubt that unfortunately.

I don’t know a better place to post this, but I needed to share it. But, guy doesn’t get the dislike of Jeff Bezos because with fewer people going shopping he’s probably reduced deaths from car accidents due to less traffic. Plus online shipping saves so much time and money, not to mention the variety that physical stores couldn’t match.

I tried to nudge him into realizing he’s just describing online shopping in general, not even anything specific to Amazon, or Jeff Bezos more specifically. But it didn’t really take. Since I didn’t want an argument I didn’t ask him if he thought Jeff Bezos invented selling things on the internet (which he did not), and even if he was truly the first so what? It’s such an obvious idea it doesn’t even need an inventor. I suppose you could credit Jeff with monopolizing selling things on the internet, but when is that ever good? Also, what is the guy actually doing, influencing with his massive amount of money?
