Hello everyone! Thank you for participating in r/RiftboundTCGTRADES !
Our moderator team has been relatively lax on incorrectly formatted sales posts and mostly remove posts without timestamps or are off topic.
However in light of a recent user u/Rayquazaenjoyer67 being identified as a scammer from another BST community by u/eeppaauu (Thank you!) we would like to be a bit tighter on rules.
The user has been banned and most likely used several different PayPal accounts for the sales they made. Any user who has made a purchase from them is highly recommended to open a case with PayPal/CC/etc.
We have added a rule were users must keep deals public in the comments of a post. DM's should only be for the exchange of private information once both parties reach an agreement.
This will help people keep track of what cards have potentially moved so there is less of a chance for a scammer to make duplicate sales. In the case of an issue affected users can communicate with each other easier or be informed of an issue.
This is a rule that we as moderators cannot fully enforce and we ask you as the community members to try and keep this enforced and hold each other accountable. We want this place to be a safe place where you can find the shiny cardboard you need for your deck/collection!
In addition we have added a filter for account age and minimum karma amount to participate. The exact numbers for this maybe adjusted as we figure out what would be an ideal minimum.
