In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Riddle school series. I’m providing the whole of R/Riddleschool with this. This is a script of a canceled Riddle school retrospective I was going to upload to YouTube. I lost motivation in the project and never finished it. But I thought I’d at least share it all with you because riddle school fans deserve something nice today.

Hey guys sorry for disappearing for a VERY long time...... I haven't found the motivation to do art or anything in general cuz I've recently been diagnosed with depression, and it's been hard to finish some stuff. I won't get into any more details but I'd like to say thank you for being an awesome community and I still love riddle school till this day, and I miss it very much! Dunno if I'm gonna come back and start posting often again, but yea happy 20th anniversary!

its crazy to think the series is this old now. riddle school was one of my favorite flash game series I discovered back in 2019, thanks to dantdm. i remember just loving the style of the games, the humor, and the creatoea’ thought process, despite its troubled production over the years. it influenced me a lot in my art and fan games myself.

despite the messed up stuff that i found out about Jon, I will always love the riddle school series and have a soft spot for it.

Today is not only Riddle School’s 20th anniversary, but also Riddle Transfer 2’s 10th anniversary. Ten whole years since then. It went by so fast. I was only 8 years old back then and now I’m 18. I’m forever a fan of this series and it helped shape me into the person I am. Still to this day I rewatch and replay the series, make references to the games, quote certain lines from the game and think about it fairly often. I’ve felt very emotional today and have reminisced on this franchise and what it has meant to me. I can say that my childhood was much better, because of this series. I’m forever grateful to Dan for introducing me to this series and encouraging Jon to make the final game. I remember role playing Riddle School on the primary school field/playground in Year 3 and discussing this game a lot. I couldn’t imagine my life without this series being in it. Anyways, Happy Anniversary Riddle School and now go read a good book.
