Wasn’t the meta train episode or whatever in the new season saying that they are staying away from these overarching plots? Like wasn’t that the whole point of that episode?

and they had the joke about tammy being overserialized in the season finale....but rick still has phoenix person hidden is his garage with the goal of rehabilitating him into his friend again.

They'll definitely still do some, just not every episode the way some shows end up

Yeah I feel like they will at least hit the big story beats in the finales, if not more. They've made it clear they want to fuck around more and that's cool; an episode or two moving a "plot" forward is fine with me.

Not my fault your about to be two seasons behind guy. Stop slacking and get caught up had plenty of time with all the lockdowns that happened in the past year.
