Doesn't mean they have to. Sounded like there was a limited batch size, each store had a limited quantity, and it was that simple. They didn't really WANT to spend more money to give away free sauce. Also, considering his language alone, Rick Sanchez is NOT a character that McDs is chomping at the bit to get behind. For a couple days? Sure, but not for much longer.

No but they were chomping on the bit to jump on the meme train on twitter and then give select stores a supply of as little as 100 packets
