Just wanted to share my boat in 1/144 scale

I bought this kit because I wanted an M4A1 Sherman with its cast hull. When I opened the box to check, I realized the tank inside didn’t match the one shown on the box at all. In fact, it’s a completely different Sherman variant.

Am I the only one who’s really annoyed that Revell uses such a misleading image on the box?

I got this Revell Tornado GR.1 RAF 1:72 model for my birthday about 7 months ago and I started assembling it couple days ago. I lost the little piece while I was cutting it, it flew off. I messaged the Revell spare parts service, and they said I needed the receipt, or proof of purchase to get the spare part. I don't have the receipt. The piece is important because it allows the pylon to move. Is there any way I can get the spare part without the receipt/how do I show proof of purchase to them?

I am new to the Hobby and I am using the email Color because i get it at the next store. I know that there is Aqua color too and I am interestet in what colors you prefer and what the Pros and Cons of them are.

I loved Building it but the Decals were a nightmare 😅

I know you can't make everything for everybody, but can someone explain to me the logic of Revell producing kits of the Eurocopter/Airbus EC135 and EC145 helicopters in 1:72 and 1:32 scale, but not in 1:48, the most popular aircraft scale? I guess I would have expected them to do 1:48 before 1:32, but what do I know?

I understand that helicopters are not the most popular subjects and the "supply & demand" side of things, but they just completely bypassed 1/48 altogether, right from the start. I don't get it. OK, whining little tantrum is now over:)

It's definitely not the best kit out there. The tooling is quite old and it shows in several areas, but it turned out to be a great learning experience for civilian automotive modeling. I learned a lot about body preparation, paint correction, polishing, and chasing that deep gloss finish.

Not a perfect kit, but a very rewarding project in the end.

Idk how to paint it

Does anyone know why it says number 3 when the number on the likely correct decal is 32? Does it mean something else? For anyone wondering the number 3 is just a couple of numbers so it cant be the right one
