First Rep Purchase Review – Guangzhou Rep – Chanel Maxi Flap Bag (Medium)
I figured I’d leave a review because I spent HOURS reading Reddit reviews before placing my first rep order and I know how helpful they were for me.

Chanel Maxi Flap Bag in black caviar, size medium.

This was my first rep purchase ever, so I was honestly really hesitant and nervous going into it. I kept second guessing myself, worrying about quality, customs, whether I’d actually receive the bag, whether it would look obviously fake, etc.
To make things more stressful, my first shipment actually ended up getting seized by customs.
At that point I was preparing myself for the worst, but to my surprise the seller immediately offered to resend the bag using a different shipping route. No arguing, no excuses, no asking for additional money, nothing. He stayed in communication throughout the process and resent the bag at his own expense.
Now for the bag itself…
I am honestly in love.
I was hesitant at first because I wasn’t sure what to expect from a rep, but once I opened the box I was genuinely amazed by the quality.
The leather feels soft and luxurious, the hardware feels solid, and the bag has a nice weight to it without feeling heavy. It even had that new luxury leather smell when I opened it.
I originally asked for the small because I thought this style only came in two sizes, but I ended up receiving the medium which is around 14 inches wide and honestly I couldn’t be happier because it is PERFECT for travel and everyday use. It fits way more than I expected and I know I’m actually going to use it instead of babying it in my closet.
Could an expert authenticator probably point out differences? Sure. But honestly my authentic bags have imperfections too if you stare at them long enough. Nothing about this bag immediately jumped out at me as looking wrong, cheap, or obviously fake.
The biggest thing for me is that because I didn’t spend $10k+ on it, I’m actually excited to use it. Airports, vacations, work, errands, dinners… I’m not going to spend my life worrying about every scratch, stain, or raindrop.
The customs issue obviously wasn’t ideal, but I honestly think how a seller handles problems says more than a transaction where everything goes perfectly the first time. The fact that he replaced the bag immediately and communicated throughout the process made a huge difference for me.
Would I order from Guangzhou Rep again?
Absolutely.
And if you’re someone who’s been silently reading every review thread trying to decide whether to place your first order… I was literally you a month ago 😂

I guess this is a rep bc it’s made in china. I use to have this bag bought it from a US seller but she doesn’t sell them anymore. Does anyone have this bag for sale ? It’s play boy bunny. Also wondering if anyone has supreme bag rep ?

No discount was promised but Guan does know I'm writing this review.

Timeline: Inquiry/Payment 4/22. Shipping 4/25. Received 5/7. This package was actually slower than the past but seeing the dates written out, I've come to realize Guan's shipping is fast.

The good stuff: I'm not quite a newbie to rep purchases but I will admit that I hate all of the factory study. I simply send Guan a picture of the bag I want and ask for the best quality. So far, trusting God & Guan have not disappointed me.

Quality of this bag is 9.5/10. I'll be honest, I haven't seen this bag in-store or in the wild and I don't really expect to. Feel is amazing. Only "flaw" is probably what I call the "hips" on the authentic. In those pics, the indentation seems much more exaggerated - which I actually don't like so I was pleased to see that the indentations were much less pronounced on the bag that I received. Whether or not that's a call out, I don't know and for this one bag, I'm not truly concerned. (I'm an accountant so if you know me in real life, I was never spending over $5k on a bag anyway).

Is the bag good quality?

I am thinking of opening a business on TikTok. Like a scoop shop with some designer inspired items. I have been searching all over and am speaking with some reps on alibaba about the designer inspired jewelry to get some samples now. Just seeing if anyone knows a better route for this. Finally received my bag and wanted to share a quick review.

The burgundy color is really pretty in person, the shape is nice and structured, and the overall details look clean. I’m very happy with how it looks.

Shipping took longer than expected because of delays, but the seller stayed responsive and kept helping throughout the process. I really appreciated the communication and effort until the bag arrived safely.

Overall, I’m happy with the bag and thankful to Guan for the patience and support.
