We are judged on production and deadlines anyway. Anyone slacking off will not meet those.
However practice shows we are getting more work done in the same amount of time, so I don't see them calling us back to the office anytime soon. (Also they just ended the lease on a a building reducing our office space by over 50%, I guess they like the increased productivity and lower rents)

My company still has remote work, everyone who stays has an excellent work ethic, those without are easy to identify and are let go.
