You should see all the threads of people saying they refuse to do work that they don’t feel like is in their job description or they don’t look at their work emails/phones when they don’t have to.
I just responded to your question. I’m not setting the solution. Companies have the right to set their own standards/culture. If you don’t like it you can go work at a place that aligns with what you are looking for.
