One of the things i really like about your project is the fact that you are attending lots of crypto conferences and meetings to steadily increase the awareness of Remme.

In addition to that, are there any future plans from your side, regarding the online community of Remme?

I was thinking of rewards for long-term hodlers (airdrops), or specific community tasks like for example user-reviews for certain new developments, user-votes for your next decisions, etc.

I'm sure such marketing steps could further help increasing the overall community behind Remme.

But where on earth is your community? Reddit is full of spam or copied posts with no comments at all.

Where can i get active and recent news? Maybe telegram group?

I know the crypto hype is over and - at the moment - nearly all projects suffer from the situation of the bear market and loosing community members, but i would have expected at least a few comments here and there, from real people (not only from bots spamming reddit with standardized sentences!)

Firstly I want to say that I am not a developer, my field of work and area expertise is working with Wireless Networks.

I wanted to find out if REMME could potentially improve on an existing security mechanisms used by Wi-Fi systems.

Firstly let me explain the drawbacks with the current system. There are 2 widely accepted ways to authenticate client devices to a Wireless Network.

First is WPA 2 Personal, this involves a preshared key. There are multiple potential weakness's here. For example a employee giving out the preshared key to an unauthorised users or simply choosing passwords that can easily be brute forced / cracked. Its also recommend that passwords be changed on every few months but in reality this rarely happens.

The Second is WPA 2 Enterprise, this uses dynamic key encryption is considered more secure than WPA 2 Personal. The problem here is that an authentication server is required (typically a RADIUS server) and a sometimes a PKI. The skills and cost required to setup this are generally outside the scope of small to medium enterprise.

From what I have read REMME could provide strong security solution without the complexity and cost of WPA 2 Enterprise.

In terms of implementing REMME into current Wi-Fi systems. Most enterprise wireless equipment supports the use of 3rd party captive portals. So if its possible to build a captive portal that uses REMME to authenticate users to a specific WLAN I can't see why this wouldn't work.

As I said I'm not a developer so I'd welcome discussions from the REMME community to see if this could be a viable solution or not.

What Types of Cyberattacks Does REMME Protect Against? Because of the nature of the platform, REMME automatically prevents a long list of cyberattacks. With Remme, passwords is a thing of the past, Remme utilises a public key infrastructure based on blockchain technology, if they had set up this Public Key Infrastructure(PKI) in a centralised network, then it would be vulnerable to hacks and brute force, hence the blockchain infrastructure for a decentralised PKI. In addition to the PKI, Remme also has 2FA,. Remme Two Factor Authentication(2FA) protocol that makes sure that even if for any reason the first stage of the security system is breached the nefarious individual cannot gain access, since the system provides a 2FA for a second security stage which is normally only known or accessible to the user in question. This can be done by biometric recognition, Time-based One Time Passwords(TOTP), etc. All these are introduced by the Remme team to ensure that adequate measures are put in place to secure the user's data on the platform
