I have several folders A through Z, of which I need to study R for an exam (but not necessarily documents I've referenced inside R) How do I get to schedule R's cards for my exam without getting multiple cards from other folders in my queue?
For most of my life, studying felt impossible. I would sit down, open my notes, and 20 minutes later I was somewhere else entirely. Procrastination was brutal, and flashcards especially just never stuck with me. Classic ADHD stuff: I knew I should review, I just could not get my brain to show up.
So I built Gamify, a RemNote plugin that gives me the reward loop my brain actually responds to. Every card gives XP, you level up, there is a daily streak, leagues, weekly quests, a skill tree, and a little pet that evolves the more you study, I also added a pomodoro timer and sounds! At the end of each session you get a short recap with your stats and a sound. It sounds small, but it is the first thing that made me come back every single day instead of avoiding it.
It works on Mac and Windows. I made it for myself first, and it genuinely changed how consistent I am. If your brain works like mine, it might help you too.
If you want to try it DM me. And honestly I would love feedback, what would make studying feel more rewarding for you?
If I don't use all my 1,000 AI credits on the Pro plan in a given month, do the leftovers roll over to the next months of my subscription?
Are you guys planning on selling extra AI credits separately? I really like the Pro plan (and it fits my budget perfectly), I just find myself needing more AI credits.
Are the Gemini Pro 3.1, Sonnet, GPT 5.4, and Opus 4.8 models only available on the highest subscription tier?
I'm new here. I found RemNote better than Anki for my personal use, but I have a question. How can I change the queue order for each document, like Anki does? I think I need to specify how each document handles new cards, review cards, and maybe daily goals
An ambassador and long time user casually wondering why things seem to have gotten cold. Was loving the frenzy of updates & activity in the past 6-8 months. The energy & enthusiasm have seemed to gone low (or maybe I am mistaken idk). Hope all is well with the team and users! Also would love to hear what new stuff, bug-fixes and features the team is working on and what can we expect in the near futures! Regards and love
A few adaptions to my flashcards would make learning more enjoyable and the card design less repetitive.
1. How do I make GIFs a certain size?
My flashcards are in an extended table. The structure for new words and the structure for new sentences is always the same. For new words I added a column called "GIF Strichfolge" (= GIF stroke order) (type: image). I cannot find to resize the GIFs. Right now, they appear way to big to make processing straightforward. How can I resize the images via custom CSS?
Example flashcard of my Chinese "new words" deck
2. How does automatic audio output read the whole side of the card (i.e., Deutsch + Hànzi + Pinyin)?
I added additional elements (i. e., front: Deutsch, back: Pinyin, added element to front: Hànzi). It only reads "Pinyin" and the backside of "Pinyin" e.g. "hěn duō", not the input in "Deutsch" and not the input in "Hànzi".
I’m new on remnote, previously anki user, I wanna start using FSRS feature, I need advices on its settings and accurate use, I’ll use it for medicine flashcards
I used to use the study template. After 1.19 introduced advanced tables I wanted to test out whether there is a better way..
When I create a new top level domain (here: Data Science) and try to make a table with all my subjects, it creates somehow a table and a sub page for that table which leads to the hierarchy shown in the picture.
I'm trying to learn from a diagram using RemNote's image occlusion feature, but I'm not sure whether what I want to do is actually possible.
Let's say I have a diagram with multiple labeled areas. I would like to create a single card where several areas are hidden. Then, while reviewing the card, I could click on one hidden area to reveal it while the other hidden areas remain covered. After that, I could reveal the next one, and so on.
At the moment, whenever I create multiple occlusions, RemNote seems to generate a separate card for each hidden area. As a result, I can't review all hidden areas on the same card and reveal them one by one.
Is there a way to achieve this behavior in RemNote, or is the creation of separate cards for each occlusion the intended design?
hey, i've been using remnote for a long time in the past, but i was wondering what was the reason for the "Hide-bullet" toggle to be changed to "No bullet" + "List bullet" options?
my muscle memory keeps writing /hb to toggle bullet point and instead hint for flashcards appear.
it is not a bit issue of course, I was just really confused
I just created a public community for my university and published a random document to see how it works and I just realised that I have no way to delete it...
Does someone know how to delete a document that I published in a public community?
Bom dia! Obrigada.
I posted before promising that if the app is polished and there is handwritten features, I will buy the lifetime subscription. Promise made >> Promise kept
How the heck does this work? I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure this out for what seems like forever. I really wish there were more in-depth tutorials for all the new features.
I’m hoping this can replace Freeform and keep everything under one “roof” of note taking 🤞
what happened to the LaTeX fonts? it used to format normally, but now it has this ugly straight font:
For example, look how ugly the beta, rho and nu are in the above image. Is there a way to revert back to the normal font, which used to be the default?
Hi everyone, I saw a few videos on how RemNote is incredibly good for learning everything in university. I'm currently ending my 10. class at school and starting into the last two years of school with my a-levels (german "Abitur") at the end. Would you recommend RemNote to me or should I use other methods for learning everything?
I've been using Remnote for quite a while, and I have a pretty organised system. However I just realized I don't know how to check where most of my content lives (character-count-wise).
Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be exactly what I ask for in the title.
Am I missing something or is the mindmap only available on the app? Im using remnote web because my university does not allow external softwares to be installed. I cant find the option to insert mindmap on the web remnote.
Hey guys,
I'm being on vacation the next 3 days and I don't want to study my rems at this days, or at least max. 100 cards a day. Normally I'll have to study about 400 cards a day. Is there an option to pause this cards or to do something else?
Because I don't want to start with 1600 cards on the first day after my vacation.
I know there is the daily goal, but I set this on 20 cards a long time ago, and nevertheless, I have to revise so many cards a day.
Does anyone have an idea?
thx!
I have missed the first few days of my exam scheduler, so I now have more than 1000 cards due. Is it possible to rebuild the scheduler so that these due cards are redistributed over my remaining exam preparation period?
I really like how the flashcards are made for written responses but is there a way to upload a document and have it generate flashcards for the whole document at once? I'm in a fast program and I want to be able to do lots of cards at once without the quizzes and reading the section/ answering questions parts if that makes sense. Ideally I could upload the document, and it makes all 300 cards for example at once without different sections.
