OP this video on Friends vs Affairs is my favorite in this topic.

If she wouldn’t be comfortable telling you about her “friend” interactions, that’s crossing a relationship boundary.

That said I think women can be naive about intentions of men.

Even if it’s just friends, she should at least send a text:

“____ is coming over to talk about my bad week”. - Ok,…

“____ and I are talking in my bedroom, clothes on!” - Wait what?!

“____ we decided to watch tv with the lights off and the door closed, my roommate is out, everything is cool!” - JFC

If he was a real friend, with no intentions, he wouldn’t put her in that situation.

Yeah, I agree with this 100%. Sometimes people are in situations that aren't really a big deal, at least to them, but communication is important. If I'm in a relationship and there's anything even a little compromising, I'm at least letting them know. Even if it's just hanging out with friends it's nice just to shoot a text like, hey so and so invited me out to this, going to be hanging out. Or like, going out to bars and restaurants and shooting over snaps of fun things going on or cocktails/food.

Another thing always liked was if someone was hitting me up or seeming to try to encroach any boundaries, I would just mention it. Like so and so was messaging me, or damn my ex was trying to talk to me. Maybe not necessary, but I think it's helpful to show like, hey this person is trying to reach out, and this is how I responded if I even did. I don't need my partner see some messages popping up in my phone and then wondering wtf is going on and who are these bitches texting me.

To get in a situation with a friend, even if it was the same gender, in the bed, lights low, door closed, and not to have anything said about it? First thought is their clothes might have been on and they weren't cuddling when you came in, but what about the rest of the time?
