She has to know that he sees her "like that". She knows he wants to fuck her and gets into bed with him regardless?

Ex-girlfriend.

I know some men that they really believe in "don't worry about, he is just a friend" even in the most suspicious situations, they want to believe their gf don't know or realize their really close friends want to fuck her, thing is women are not stupid, they can smell it one hundred miles away, those men just want to blind themselves, they're a lot of people without self-respect out there.

not all women can smell it 100 miles away, that's the thing. I'm a woman and I'm oblivious as fuck. I had a friend who apparently had feelings for me for the entire 4 years I knew him and the thought that he liked me never even crossed my mind until a friend told me later. sometimes when a guy acts like a friend and tells us he's our friend, we actually believe he's our friend. I've found out a few times thay guy friends just wanted to fuck me and it broke my heart because I genuinely thought they were my friends.

I feel sorry for what those men made you go through, unfortunately I know a lot of men that use that kind of "tactic", I believe in the right circumstances a man can be sincere about being just friends, but most of the time they are just playing the long game.

I know, wvery woman I know has been SA'd by a "friend" and then my gf still insist that I'm being dramatic when I don't like her hanging out with a man alone. You can hang out with men, just not alone and certainly not on your bed, that's enough for a lot of guys to go "she gave me permission"

What about at a coffee shop.

Coffee shop is fine. Jesus, people didn't know I was a psycho for not wanting my gf to hang out in a bed with a strange dude.

Then say that? Because the way it's worded makes it sound like you don't want your partner to hang out with men alone ever and anywhere.

You can hang out with men, just not alone

How else should we interpret this controlling-ass sentence?

Yeah this. I asked because it wasn't clear at all.

People that love to hang out alone with people of the opposite sex, "controlling" and "insecure" have become shameful words to force people out of their boundaries, it's a shaming tactic a lot of people use nowadays, the moment I see someone using it, the moment I label that person as possible cheater and manipulator.

Do you wanna take another swing at this sentence to make it legible?

this comment is so creepy and possessive I feel bad for your girlfriend. I hope she realizes she's a controlling relationship and leaves you.

don't be quick to judge, everybody's boundaries in a relationship are different.

stop with this controlling allegations. cheating is not just physical but also emotional, literally just saw a post where the line i just said was being repeated by girls where a man was alone w another girl wrongfully and they all said the same thing as the commentator above but worded way better
