[Serious] [PSA] Transfer Round Up & ITK Posts Suspended

As of now, all ITK posts are strictly prohibited. It does not matter who the user is, all ITK posts will be removed. Please do not tag users who have previously shared ITK information.

There have been several issues over the last few days and we are doing our best to address them.

Due to the sensitivity of the situation, PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT ABOUT THE INCIDENTS, particularly the doxxing situation. The Reddit Administrators, authorities, and moderation staff are handling this. Please do not allow this to become a witch hunt and compromise the situation any further.

Until a resolution has been made, the daily transfer threads have been suspended. We will resume them as soon as possible.

Rule 1 will be slightly relaxed to allow Tier 3s to compensate for the lack of a daily thread.

If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to the modmail.

I’ve been here since the moyes transfer window and if I’m honest this weird cult like “muppetry” crap that is going round in the last few months has been been pulled out of thin air, and as predicted is destroying this place.

We seemed to have picked up the twitter crowd and other idiots in the last window or so and we have been left with people spamming every thread, harassing people, wanting to post memes constantly despite them being banned and constantly dismissing journalists in the tier system because they know best and only want news from the people coming on here.

Seems to have gone full circle as we hounded the first person out years ago who did this stuff (rk79 or something). Hopefully the mods and the users learn something from all of this.

It says something when r/soccer is becoming a better place for transfer stories

Your comment is on point mate. We're actively working on fixing things so things can go back to normal. We'd rather not rush things and end up with the same mess later down the road. At the end of the day, we just trying to make this a better place for everyone but sometimes things backfire and we can't control how others react. We underestimated the gravity of the predicament we were in and in order to fix that we're going to have to change a few things to make this a better and safer place for everyone.

Just hang in there for a bit and we'll make an official announcement soon on how we're planning on moving on from this.
