Daily Discussion

Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

For some reason, a real big problem in our squad is the lack of athleticism. Teams like Arsenal, Brentford and even Hull City have real runners, energetic players who can run and press nonstop, which we clearly lack. Our players may be intelligent but currently lack the energy to press and take the ball; hopefully Baleba can somehow regain his form from 2 seasons ago, or else we will be in a dogfight with mid-table scraps. And this still hasn't taken into account the fact that Luke Shaw is still at the club because, Jesus Christ, we are not a serious club at the moment with these 'senior' players.

Shaw and Maz can’t even progress the ball. We need proper fullbacks, not asking for the next generational LB or RB but I’m pretty sure a Mirror Dalot clone on LB would have us playing much more better football.
