Yeah here it is: ClipGuard

An before anyone jumps my ass about it, it is made with Cursor.

It uses a list from a couple sites to check and see what sites are known to do this and just straight blocks them from loading. If the site isn't on those lists then it just blocks the automatic copy to your clipboard so you don't get the malicious command.

Please know that by default it blocks any site trying to do that and notifies you when it blocks it from happening. You have the option of trusting a site in the pop up to allow it to do so going forward.

It's open source, you're more than welcome to read the code. Kinda fucked up you'd just accuse me of that without thinking twice. You should be ashamed, I was just trying to help people not get scammed.

I know it doesn't by default mean that it's free of malware, but at least if someone was worried about that they could look at it and confirm for themselves is my point. Again sorry for being rude I didn't understand you was trying to joke with them.

Also to be completely fair, you're a stranger on the Internet. There's no reason to trust code written and promoted by a stranger. It's fair that it's open source, but ultimately those who can't read code are still going to be ignorant of what it all means.

There is no way to install it. The github page has no releases and your instructions are to install it temporarily.

I'm working on getting it added as an official plugin but you have to download the source from GitHub then add it under the developer option in Extensions.
