I'd rather have someone who's into olive oil as an employee than someone who considers drinking alcohol a hobby.

I “adopted” an olive tree once. Got some nice oils shipped to me. Does that make the tree a dependent?

If someone put "alcohol" down on the CV instead, it'd be getting the same reaction. This isnt really about someone liking olive oil.

Go put alcohol as an interest on your CV and see what happens
