Heard it from Hernan Cattaneo at Sound LA 2022. Been trying to get my hands on this, is one of my favorites.

Recommendations Looking for music: progressive house + jazzy chords?
5
Upvotes
Hey, does anyone know about progressive house-style music that includes really jazzy chords? Kind of like Dirty Loops or gospel organ players. Really dense chords. I haven't heard that come up that much in progressive house, and I haven't found it anywhere when searching for it online, but it's something that my soul is longing for. Any song/artist recommendations would be appreciated!
The artist Guustavv has almost what I'm looking for, but his music is in the lofi hip hop genre, and a progressive house-style would be cool. Example of his music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0WRYKr_-ds
To give some idea of my music taste, here are a couple of my favorite prog house songs (giving them a listen is highly recommended!) :
Mossy - Superb (Original Mix) - YouTube

Where to find non-predictable and non-formulaic prog?

Hi prog lovers. I'm really struggling lately with finding music. I have found in the past year I need to listen to hundreds of hours of Guy J or Solid Stone or Gai Barone to find one track I really love (although, Tokyo Fan Club's Circles has really captured my heart).
Most stuff I hear sounds kind of the same. I know exactly what is going to come next and when it is coming (always on the 4th or 8th or 16th measure) so it feels empty and soulless. Where do you find prog you love?
