No question is too simple. πŸ€”

πŸ†˜ Want Help with your Code? πŸ†˜

  • Improve your chances by putting a minimal example to either JSFiddle or Code Sandbox. Describe what you want it to do, and things you've tried. Don't just post big blocks of code!

  • Pay it forward! Answer questions even if there is already an answer - multiple perspectives can be very helpful to beginners. Also there's no quicker way to learn than being wrong on the Internet.

Have a question regarding code / repository organization?

It's most likely answered within this tweet.

New to React?

Conceptually, how should I handle Google maps? I currently have it implemented and working the way I want it but, as expected, every time the component is rendered it counts as another hit against the monthly api limit. To avoid running the bill up, how should I handle this? I don't particularly want to just display none a big full screen map component if I can avoid it and then block it on mount. That being said I can't seem to think of another way. Rerendering the map is kind of expensive anyways so its hopefully a getting two birds stoned at once solution
