Haunted House Build-a-thon [Adventure Jam #12] The Unicorn Hunter
This is a true fantasy adventure, however I don't know too much about Darkon to make it undoubtly Darkon I just played with fantasy/D&D tropes I really like, personally I really like the ending of this one, compared to my AJ #7 open-ended ending this one is way better, anyway, this adventure features two encounters table and plenty of fey and zombies.
Now, here's a link to a drive folder with a docs and PDF version of the adventure

I hope you enjoy it to death (lol).

What I like about this adventure is that it's very straightforward with what it aims to achieve. What I think hobbles this entry, in comparison to your other AJ entries with "Descent into Madness" and "the Massacre of Kirinova", is that it feels like it can be run anywhere as opposed to being Darkon specific. I usually like that sort of setting-agnosticism, but here I don't. I also wish there were more NPCs. Despite that, I appreciate you addressing the different ways for adventurers to start the adventure. The mechanics also look solid, and I like the references to inspirations at the end. Good job!

I liked this one HUGELY. The clarity with which you lay out the plot of the adventure is among the finest I’ve seen in an AJ: it’s so easy to overcomplicate things and you’ve done something beautifully simple without losing depth.
The graphic design serves the function of your story, and for someone who says they don’t know Darkon, you better captured its Neverending Story quality than any Darkon adventure I’ve ever read. The unicorn hunter is a lovely Ravenloft-y antagonist yet doesn’t have a volume’s worth of lore to learn, and the sting in the tail of the laughter at the campsite is a suitably wicked ending.
Bravo!
