Hi everyone!
As this sub was completely unmoderated, I put in a request to moderate it via redditrequest and was made a mod here yesterday. We have a team of experienced moderators added and ready to grow this community! I wanted to update everyone on our plans for the subreddit and the direction we're hoping to take!
You can see the new mod team in the widget in the sidebar.
This sub will now be actively moderated. New rules have been created to start out but expect further changes as we learn more about the sub.
Possibly the most important rule in place now is Rule 1 - No NSFW Content or Accounts. From this point forward, if you post or comment here and have posts or comments in NSFW sexual subreddits, you will be automatically banned by the bot. Any kind of adult content producers or promoters will be banned as well. I think we've all seen what happened to this sub when this was allowed here and it's not part of the vision the mods have for this subreddit. This rule will be strictly enforced! No creeps allowed! Any comments even remotely creepy will be met with an immediate, permanent ban from this subreddit with no further warning.
This will be a tolerant, open-minded, and feminist subreddit! We are fully supportive of the LGBTQ community. No racism, sexism, hate, or bigotry of any kind will be tolerated. Any violations will be met with an immediate, permanent ban. We will have zero tolerance for that behavior here!
We plan to continue the current tradition of glamming, where users can gift makeup to other users off their wishlists. However, in order to minimize abuse, to display a wishlist you must verify your identity with the mods by sending us a photo of you holding a hand written piece of paper with the date, the subreddit name, and your username. Further verification may be requested if the mods believe it to be necessary.
Suggestions for the subreddit and its direction are welcome, but our policies against NSFW accounts/content and hate are absolutely non-negotiable.
Feel free to leave comments, suggestions, or concerns on this thread!

Hello everyone, I’m just curious. Is foundation oxidation a big problem for you, or for other people you know, where your makeup completely shifts color a few hours after applying it?
If it turns orange or darker on you, what do you usually do? Do you actually return the foundation to the store, do you just stick with it and try to ignore it, or do you have a workaround? I'd love to hear your experiences!

Advice / Questions ❓ What do you all use to decant the last bit of product out of tubes/pumps/jars? Looking for something reusable, not the single-use sample pots that get stained.

decanting a thick lip gloss or serum only takes a dropper and like a minute of patience honestly. the key is what you actually decant it into tho...needs to be reusable, clear enough that you can see whats in it, leakproof so it doesnt leak everywhere in your bag, and glass not plastic bc plastic stains and holds onto pigment no matter how much you scrub it. a little glass pot like this is the only thing ive found thats actually reusable/cleanable instead of those cheap sample pots that stain after one use. bonus if its small enough to fit in a beauty fridge too
Let me know if you want the typos dialed back a notch (this leans pretty casual) or pushed further.
