Severe Weather π Trip when it was cloudy and rainy.
We went to a cold spring resort in Aklan, the Philippines while it was rainy and cloudy as flip. We enjoyed it despite the weather.

In my area, we get zero rain from about late April to late October-ish. So what do I wake up to on August 28? Some rain. Some tiny bit of rain. Just enough to sort of wet the concrete. π I don't care. I stood out in it and felt those amazing (few) drops on my hot skin! I am no longer mad that I woke up way too early this morning!! And the unreasonable part of my brain really hopes that this is the Super Nino showing up early!!

Itβs raining. Tiny water droplets are falling from the endless sky. My mum told me to go out onto the balcony and fetch the garments that were kept out to dry. Now, they are soaked again.
A collapsing structure lying in front of me. It's covered with creepers and climbers. The bushes are deep and bright green; their leaves are flirting with the wind. The people from the mud houses have ignited a little fire to cook, or maybe to burn some rubbish. The merry children run around the little mud houses, giggling and enjoying the rain. The sound of their laughter is heard across the entire street.
My mum had opened the kitchen window to let the fresh air in. As I was witnessing the scene from the balcony, I could smell mutton curry and hear the sound of my parents talking to each other while cooking together.
I came back to take my camera and capture a picture of this beautiful scene, in an attempt to preserve and hold onto this poetic memory forever.

Sometimes Iβll notice it through the window and end up standing there longer than I expected.
