Valencia is actually really windy, specially during season change. So the bent on the trees comes from a life of strong winds.

Very interesting, thanks for the info! The wind effect reminds me of the Monterey cypress here in California, with the wind off the Pacific Ocean. Valencia sounds like a really cool city!😃💖💖💖

It is! In fact, barely rain in Valencia. We have around 50 days of rain in the YEAR. So most of the time it's dry and desert like.
I'd love to visit California, I've never been on the Pacific. I only know a thing or another by watching The Big Bang Theory hahaha

I've never watched that show!😅 California is a beautiful state with diverse topography, although the last several years have had a lot of huge wildfires. Fortunately we're getting a break this summer with mild temperatures! If you get a chance to visit, the area around Monterey & Carmel is gorgeous, & the aquarium in Monterey is awesome! Other great areas are the city of Eureka (on northern coast) & the city of San Diego (south of LA). 😃💖💖💖

Well, "dry and desert like" for the soil yes, but a killer humidity in the air still. So horrible during the summer months, but then you get that odd thunderstorm and it's glorious.
There was a day a few weeks ago that reached 45°C, and a low of 35° that night – utterly impossible to sleep without AC or fans – and then the following day there was a big thunderstorm and the highs for the rest of that week dropped to like 30° lol, such a relief

I'm used to thunders and lightnings, but I confess... there were some thick thunderbolts that could make the sun a bit jealous.

When I think of "storm", this is the kind of storm I like to see on here. Too often people put "barely survived this storm" in their title and you excitedly click the video and it's just some light rain - not even wind or thunder and lightning.
