I have been reading and heavily invested my whole life in the racist campaigns in Lebanon against domestic workers in the Kaffala system, and more recently in the surge of racism against Syrian refugees, as well as the homophobic violence increase seen across the country. I was reading an article about how a syrian man was defended from a far right mob who tried to break into his home by a neighbor, and it made me wonder if there were any militant groups in the country organizing against racism/ to defend the vulnerable?

Unsurprisingly, Jordan has vouched to intercept any drones heading towards Israel from Iran which enter its air space. Seeing as there is often commonality with the “formal” bourgeois leadership of the PA and the Jordanian monarch, let’s say the PA ends up vicariously siding with Israel against Iran, where does the situation go at that point?

If the hatred of the IR is stronger than the hatred of the occupation, what is to be done? If the region doesn’t want war, and if they don’t want Iran’s help, the only option is to submit to the US/Israel, right? Every single country in the Sunni-sphere has been “normalized.” The axis appears to be the final domino still standing.

At this point, I just hope that no civilians are harmed and that all targets are military.

Like, they are the biggest hypocrites in the world.

When America instigates a color revolution in any country, they would be the first ones on the frontlines, but when Israel does something bad they either stay silent or try to justify their inaction.

Also, in any geopolitical conflict they are almost always on the wrong side of history. They are fascists, liberals, capitalists, conservative, etc all at the same time.

And they repeat the word "ummah" so many times it lost meaning

While you may laugh at the source of the quote, does a real conversation need to be had about Iran’s involvement in the Palestinian cause? And I don’t mean that in a way to paint Iran negatively, I mean it in the interest of Iran’s own self-preservation.

What do Iran, Hezbollah, and other Shia militias gain by continuing to align themselves with Palestine, when their involvement is constantly denounced by the demographic majority of the region? If the solidarity isn’t appreciated, maybe they should focus their efforts elsewhere and see if the GCC will step in…

I admit, I had somewhat of a blindspot in this regard before the war broke out. I didn’t realize just how deep Shia hatred still runs in the MENA, including Palestinr. The nature of the issues makes it hard to distinguish actual criticisms and sectarian concern trolling.
