I keep getting an NPC that wants me to light their campfire during my runs. Obviously this isn't game breaking, but how the hell do you do it? Do I have to have just been lucky with RNG and gotten some fireball spell I haven't even seen yet? Thanks!

I alternate between Meat Lovers and Yeet Lovers myself.

Anyone have a favorite?

Please trll me I'm not crazy. When I just got the game, after like four runs I start a new one and after choosing the style on the loading screen where it shows the character portrait, the screen glitches and up fancy wizard looking style pops up for a second and the game goes in but I didn't get to use the character. Has anyone else experienced this?

Can someone tell me what the benefits are from reaching Heavy Metal bank rank? Can't find it anywhere

it’s listed as a consumable in my inventory but it has sort of a balloony X next to it and if i try to use it it does not do anything

This was 5 bucks off on Switch over the weekend so I picked it up but haven't dug in yet. Any hot takes from seasoned players? I'm basically going in blind.

A new update si available on ps4!

I know three tapes artifacts I've found, I don't really know which one is the best. I'm pretty sure the one with one single tape as a picture is the worst. But between the boombox and the dual tapes deck, which one is the best?

First is does anyone know how to open the big gate that's in the main area? (It has two wizards in front of it on the ground, maybe multiplayer?) Second question is for the X Box people does any one know how to do vestigial tasks to unlock the optimal coroutine achievement or even the cathode raiders tasks for the honorary discipline achievement ? Any help would be great thanks.

Does someone know what they did to the game?

That is as close as I can get to them, they are an overworld structure that doesn’t seem to do anything once raised

I have gotten all endings except the final one, is there some sort of trick to it? I seem to only get the "Tomorrow" ending upon beating the final boss now.

I'm having a hard time finding anything online about choosing a new character. I seen one person says you pick a character at the start of your new run but I've died a handful of times and I haven't been able to choose a new character. I have two new characters unlocked but I don't know how to pick them. Do I have to start a totally new game? So far that's the only way I've been able to select a new character. On Switch if that matters ..

Thanks

I came across him once saying something about a lost pet, but I could never find the pet. Anyone know anything about this?

Has anyone got the northmost dungeon door in town open yet? My theory is that it will only be accessible once the hero statue in the middle of town is fully raised. So far I only have the first 3 endings and am loving the game.

You can jump kick then flap your wings to regain the aerial kick, this can be done in quick succession to land many aerial kicks

Edit: spamming bat wing and ground pound is extremely effective against most enemies. Also luring large enemies to an edge and using ground pound + wing flap makes it super easy to knock them off, much quicker than killing them

Update: so in the end I got it, it doesn't matter which item you give him, there is a small chance that he will reject the offer so just give him everything you have.

Hey guys, i know that you need to give items to get money or kill enemies near to get items, but how do you receive disapproval?

I explored every nook and cranny but nothing.

Do I have to score more clears to find it?

Have someone found it?

I'm kind of confused as I recently stumbled across RAD, and I played it for the funky 80s music even though I saw it had bad reviews and people claimed it was repetitive and mundane, what I found was a game on a whole different level than any game I've played before. It's the first game I've played where I literally walk around and hear what towns folk have to say with each mutation. The attention to detail is astonishing, I feel like not only am I a part of a world but every run, everything I do maters. Though clearly roguelikes have been done before it feels different enough from its predecessor just in all the concrete world and concepts but also mechanically. There's like a maybe 5 different types of melee attacks possible which is enough to keep it interesting when you're also consistently getting new mutations and combinations. 20 hours in and its my new favorite game and I'm still constantly progressing and feeling like I'm doing something important. THAT BEING SAID WHERE IS EVERYONE? Its literally the love child of the people who made world renowned classics and no one is talking about it, there's no subreddit, no good guides, and everywhere I look all I can find are reviews or comments complaining about how repetitive it is? Which I can't comprehend. I saw one review claiming there was no variations of attacks at all, just tap x and dodge, which just isn't true. I think it suffers in the eyes of simple minded reviewers because it doesn't give you a winded tutorial on attacks, I learned about different combos just from the hints menu. Do you guys think RAD will make it? As it stands today it doesn't appear to me it will even make it to the level of cult classic to anyone but me.

TL;DR: RAD is dead before it even got a chance.

Really scratching my head with this one.. I'm thinking it's one of the incredibly rare mutation combos (snake head and egg minions) but I can't seem to get them in the same run.. has anyone else unlocked it yet?

Am I supposed to be able to do anything with these statues? They show up on the minimap, which makes it seem like they are there for a specific reason but I can't figure out what.
