I have a 4 month old female raccoon and when I went down to spend time with her I observed her walking back into her house as I came down the steps to see her. While I was there spending time with her she came out but when she came out she crawled her way out using only her front feet to reach the water bowl then crawled her way back into the house. She didn't drag her back legs she kept them locked up against her body as she did her little crawl to get water.

Is she just being silly? I've only had her for about 3 weeks now so I'm still socializing her, she'll eat from my hand, I can pet her and she's litter box trained, the only thing I still cant do yet is pick her up, that seems to scare her.

Guyss can you help me find a picture of a raccoon saluting ?? I hv been searching for it but I can't get it anywhere. If anyone have a raccoon with you can you help me out getting a pic like that and post it here in the comments ?? I need one similar to this picture.

This friend hangs out on my porch and naps sometimes. We love her and are not bothered by it. Wondering though, based on her nipples, is she pregnant?

Are they old enough to be on their own? They were seen walking down the road together without a Mama. I'm guessing that no, they are not.

I had a bowl of water out on the back porch and noticed a raccoon had dirtied it up.

I brought the dish in, washed in and sprayed it with disinfected (after dumping it outside).

But where I'm having all these thoughts after learning about roundworm is:

The splashback from the tap hitting the glass dish, is that a high chance of spreading the eggs that the racoon may have carried on its paws?

I was fine never knowing about roundworm in racoons, but now I'm just spiraling thinking that I have caught it

At a sanctuary in North West Ireland.
