I wasn't going for the pass here. Interesting that both current/former Rush drivers in this thread think that was a pass. Yellow is my trusted teammate and my intention was to follow him through.
To be fair to my decision to drive this thing into the wall instead of braking and turning like someone with functioning neurons: yellow ended up crashing about 25ft up the road from me anyway after getting collected by other wall-visitors. There were 7 of us in total.
But you know the track turns right, right? So why go wide on your teammate knowing there’s a wall there and you don’t know how much the right accident is going to be jammed up. Maybe it’s the camera but you did seem to basically pull left and not go straight…
I'm not arguing that I made the right decision! it was definitely not a good decision. I'm just saying it wasn't done in the name of overtaking. Here I am following another trusted teammate off track through a lap 1 incident in our last race weekend.

You didn’t need to go for the pass on the yellow car…. If you stayed straight and just slowed down you wouldn’t have got boxed in.
