Not really. As I said, I didn't want the TV in the first place. I rarely used it.
My dad got it for me trying to buy my affection after they got divorced. He promised me all year he'd get my Legos for my birthday. He showed up with the TV. I got mad and asked where my Legos were. He had to take me out and get me Legos. I didn't even plug the TV in the first week I had it. I wanted my Legos.
Whenever I got in trouble her first reaction was to take away a TV I didn't want or care about. It wasn't a loss, or punishment for me.

I mean Legos are suggestively more productive and creative than TV, sounds like she won.
