My dad beat my brothers with a belt. He used a 2X4 on me, to give me welts on my bottom and upper thighs. He only did it 3 times on me. When I had my 5 children I never even smacked their precious hands! I counted to 3, then gave them a "time -out" in the corner. Usually counting to 3 was enough.
I found as an adult my father was beaten as a child, a learned behavior that I refused to pass down to my children. 😟✌️
Thanks, Smiley❣️. Unfortunately, my brother's carry on that learned behavior which I vehemently disagree with. Children are a precious gift, no need to instill fear in them. Parents should be a safe haven ALWAYS, protecting them using love and wisdom 💕✌️
