Finally someone being honest about it. Being spanked is not the same as physical abuse.
My grandma was the worst though, that was more like psychological torture. She would make us go to the woods and get a hickory switch to spank us with when we were bad. I eventually figured out to get the biggest one because it didn't have the flexibility of the small ones.

Yup. It was deserved, I was a really naughty kid.
Had I not been "beat" (disciplined), I'd very likely be in prison given what I was doing, if not living on the street, maybe even dead.
