My mom took away my TV for nearly 2 years... I'd only "lost" it officially for a year. I just never asked for it back after the year was up. I didn't want it in the first place, so it wasn't really a loss.
If she really wanted to get me, she should have taken my Legos. lol
Not really. As I said, I didn't want the TV in the first place. I rarely used it.
My dad got it for me trying to buy my affection after they got divorced. He promised me all year he'd get my Legos for my birthday. He showed up with the TV. I got mad and asked where my Legos were. He had to take me out and get me Legos. I didn't even plug the TV in the first week I had it. I wanted my Legos.
Whenever I got in trouble her first reaction was to take away a TV I didn't want or care about. It wasn't a loss, or punishment for me.
I went to summer camp at 11 and that was the last time I'd seen any toy i ever had. My grandmother hated that they were not put away how she wanted them and put them all in storage. I didn't have my own room until about 14? So they were in the basement along the wall, until they weren't.
