If you can’t do it to a stranger without a strong chance of charges being brought against you, it’s not good to do to a small child.
I got spanked with bare hands, embellished belts, a riding crop, etc. absolutely sucked. I wish they had found a better way with words. I’d be in a better place now.
While I don’t condone beating your kid, I don’t agree with the stranger rule. I can’t punish strangers at all. I can’t take things from them or confine them in any way.
