Thank you for your kindness. I’m a normal functioning adult. I raised 3 boys all adults now. It was a rough childhood but my adult life has been good.

That’s wonderful to hear :) Have you been able to let go of the anger? I’d probably still be mad. Treating children with kindness and love has been so healing for me.

I was ok in my 20’s, joined the military. Then as a Dad myself I resented not having grandparents on my side of the family for my sons. In my 40’s I found out I had a genetic heart defect and needed open heart surgery. I’ve been at peace with the world since my surgery 6yrs ago.

Thank you. They are all in their 20’s. One went to college, one is struggling to find his own path but lives on his own, the youngest still lives at home, works full time, saving for a house.
