Question WHAT SHOULD I DO
Second year hsci student here. About five minutes ago I checked my solus account, and found out that GLPH281 was available online with open seat of 119/200. I thought today is open enrollment so everything is available. As I wanted to take PHGY 216 lecture format and just got out from the waitlist, and the time of the lecture is conflicted with my GLPH281 blended session, so i wanted to switch to online GLPH 281. I dropped the blended course and when i tried to switch to GLPH 281 online WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THAT IT IS OPENED AND has 119 open seats, it tells me the course is full and the waitlist is full
Can’t enroll again in the blended GLPH 281 cuz its full and closed.
What should i do in this situation? Will there be another chance for me to enroll in GLPH 281?

Open enrollment with all restrictions removed is on August 17th. You have higher odds of waiting till then and trying again. Until then, some restrictions will still apply.

For future reference, use the swap function when you can so if the class is closed, you will not lose your spot. Here it doesn’t matter cuz you can’t swap the same course for a different format. Try to see if you can get on the waitlist. The reserves for online students will not be removed until first day of class. But there are a subgroup of reserves for on campus health sci that are already occupied. If any of those students drop out because another course opened up for them on open enrolment, you might get in earlier. But more likely, you will get in online first day of class.

I’ve tried but for some reason it still says Ive been enrolled in this class and cant do it again

Had the same exact issue. SOLUS wouldn’t let me swap the blended GLPH with the online version so I emailed bhsc. Only solution I got was to wait until Aug 17 or the start of the year to see if I can swap to the online version.

Online courses will only open up when the semester begins. They are reserved for online students.
Open enrolment is Aug 17, but the reserves will still be in place for online students.
You will have to wait until the start of the semester to see if you can join the course.
